4 days later
I rolled over in my bed, pulling my fluffy comforters up. It was cold..... too cold....

The door burst open to reveal a giddy Ofelia. I groaned just thinking about that. When Ofelia is giddy, I never get a break.

"Titania! Guess what?!" She practically squealed.

"What?" I mumbled, attempting to hide under my fluffy white blanket.

"Kayden and I are an item!"

I jumped up at that. My brother and best friend were dating?!

"What?!" I practically screeched. I did not expect this.

"Me and Kayden are dating!" It was too early in the morning for me to comprehend this, so I just dropped the subject.

"That's cool, but, moving on. What time is it?"

Ofelia looked puzzled before she answered. "It's 8:00, why?"

"Just curious." I replied, not telling her the real story. Today, I had plans to head to the flare mountains to get the sword of mirrors to defeat Valene once and for all. I was getting sick of that bitch.

"Titania?" Ofelia's voice cut me out of my daze and I faked a smile, looking at her.

"Ofelia?" I asked, teasing her.

"Just wondering what you're thinking about."

I scrambled to answer, knowing she's onto me. Usually, when I'm in a daze, it means I'm up to something and she knows it.

"Nothing, just how crazy things have become." I said finally, looking at Ofelia with a fake smile. Ofelia looked at me before nodding, but her facial expression told me she didn't believe me. I'm so bad at hiding things from my best friend.

"Titania, what's really on your mind?" Ofelia asked after a few minutes of silence. I sighed, knowing I shouldn't tell her as she'd try to stop me but she's my best friend.

"I have a mission to complete. I found a way to kill Vivian but I need to go on a hike." I explained, looking her in the eye. Ofelia looked straight back at me and grabbed my wrist, pulling me out of my room and into the corridors. I groaned as she pulled me through groups of faeries talking and mingling.

After many turns and twists through the halls, Ofelia opened a large wooden door to reveal a conference table and white walls. Two faeries looked up from their papers and I realized they were Cornelius and Kayden. They smiled as they saw me and Ofelia and gestured us over.

Ofelia dragged me to a chair opposite Cornelius and pushed me down.

"Sit!" She commanded like I was a dog. I rolled my eyes at her but smiled. Cornelius and Kayden chuckled as Ofelia sat down next to me, sending me pointed looks.

"Titania thinks she's going on a mission alone." Ofelia said suddenly, making me sink back in my chair. Cornelius and Kayden looked at me pointedly.

"No." Cornelius said as he crossed his arms, glaring at me.

"Cornelius, I can't stay cooped up in here forever! I'm the only one who defeat Vivian."

"Yeah, and you almost died just four days ago! Like hell you're going on a mission!"

"Both Of you! That's enough! We can figure this out in a much more peaceful manner." Kayden said, sounding kind of annoyed.

"How can I be peaceful when Titania is trying to get herself killed?!" Cornelius shouted at Kayden, glaring at me.

"I'm not trying to get myself killed! I just need to stop Valene!" I screamed, not knowing I said Valene instead of Vivian.

"Valene?" Cornelius, Kayden, and Ofelia asked at the same time. I groaned and covered my face with my hands, not really wanting to talk about this.

"Titania." Cornelius's voice was moving to a dangerously low level as he stared at me. I sighed, knowing I had to tell them now.

"Fine, but I'll have to start from the beginning."

"When I passed out, I was sent to the in between, where I met Sorcha. She said that I'm a very unique case, as I'm half light and half dark fae. She also said that I'm related to her through my 'father.' Oh! Right, Finn isn't my real dad!"

Kayden's mouth dropped open at that and he just stared, urging me to continue.

"Apparently, my father is a direct descendant of Sorcha, which makes me a descendant of her too. My father is also a dark faery. But, my mom is my mom. And when I was there, I got the chance to say goodbye to her, but she told me Vivian isn't Vivian anymore. She hasn't been since she was ten years old. Now, Valene, the demon queen, possesses Vivian's body and she's so set on killing me because she knows I can easily stop her. Oh! And I have the power over light, darkness, soul, spirit, destruction, fire, water, ice, nature, and air!"

Now everyone's mouth had been dropped open. Ofelia's eyes were wider than saucers and her mouth was in a large o shape. Cornelius and Kayden were the same.

"Why did you wait so long to tell us this?" Kayden squeaked out, looking at me with watering eyes. I guess he didn't know mom was dead, or he'd hoped mom was spared and just thrown in the dungeon.

"I don't know, I guess I just didn't want to talk about it." I shrugged my shoulders, attempting a small smile.

"There's more." Cornelius said, crossing his arms once more.

"Only when I came back I was in my soul form. When I came back to this world, I felt I needed to take advantage of being invisible, so I flew to the light faery castle to stalk on Valene. I ran into Cyla, who is now a wolf, mated to alpha Saxon. I also found out that the only way to kill Valene is by getting the sword of mirrors, which is hidden in the flare mountains. I need to get it so I can destroy Valene."

Everyone was silent for several minutes.

"When do we go?" Ofelia said after what seemed like hours, but was only a few minutes. I smiled, knowing my friends and family will always be there and help me through my journey.
