I sat at the edge of the bed in Cerise's office. My heart pounded as I looked at Titania's frail form. Her skin was a sickly gray and her breathing was so shallow as to be nonexistent. I was worrying about her constantly. The blood from her wound hasn't stopped flowing and Cerise confirmed it was poison and she didn't have an official cure for the specific poison in Titania, but she refused to give up. Titania has been unconscious and getting worse for the past five days and we didn't know when a demon hoard or Vivian would show up, but we were always on high alert. Kayden, Ofelia, and I haven't left Titania's side since we brought her from the forest. When she admitted her feelings for me..........

I shook my head and growled at myself. She would wake up, she had to! She was Titania, the savior of our world, and the faery I had come to really like. I had kind of started to hope for a future with her and I knew she was hurt because I had used her that one time when I kissed her in front of Valla. I hated doing that, but I needed Valla to back off. I hated how selfish I was and that I had hurt her so much.

"Your highness!" Cerise came running in, holding a syringe and golden liquids. She was breathing heavily and mixing the liquid in the syringe.

"Do you have any news?" I asked, eagerly looking at her. She nodded frantically.

"Yes! This right here should numb the pain and allow her to wake up within three days, and then I have almost got the official cure ready!"

"That's great news, Cerise. Thank you." I told our nurse, who nodded.

"I'm happy to help Princess Titania get better. She's a wonderful faery and has been through so much." Cerise said, and I nodded. I agreed with her.

"Give her the medication when you can." I told her, grateful she was helping.

"I'm almost finished mixing and I'll give it to her as soon as I am done!" Cerise said, frantically getting the liquid in the syringe. When she finished, she walked over to Titania and poked the syringe into her. Titania flinched, but otherwise no movement was made by her. Titania was terrified of needles, and I knew that because I heard her crying when she had to get an injection. I hated hearing her cry, it made me want to cry also. Everything this girl has done for me has been out of pure love, or at least I really believed it was. Her heart was filled of goodness and the immortals couldn't be so cruel as to take such an incredible soul from this existence. Cerise left the room, leaving us with Titania.

"Do you think she'll be ok?" Kayden asked me. His eyes were bloodshot and his blonde hair was a wavy mess. I couldn't bare to think of the alternative so I nodded. Ofelia clung to Kayden, not looking much better. Her eyes were also bloodshot and her long blonde wavy hair was matted. Her face was pale as she stared down at her best friend. Kayden gently rubbed her arm and was also frowning at Titania's form.

This is how it's been for the past five days and how it will be until Titania wakes up.
