Cornelius had called a meeting in the courtyard for all participants in the upcoming battle. It was time to tell everyone the real story on Vivian. Or who they assumed to be Vivian. Time to tell everyone that Valene is possessing Vivian and making her do things against her will. I will not say a word about my sacrifice.

Conversations flowed about in the beautiful courtyard, but they weren't positive. They were about how to say goodbye to loved ones and the possibility of being killed in this battle. I just wanted to get the sacrifice done as soon as possible so many deaths can be spared.

"Alright, warriors! Listen up! We are here to discuss battle strategies and train, but we also are here to explain the truth about Vivian's identity!" Cornelius's voice boomed through the courtyard. All conversations stopped and silence only lasted a minute before cheers and hoots rang out from the crowd.

Cornelius waited for the crowd to silent once again before continuing.

"Vivian isn't the real Vivian, she's actually Valene, the demon queen. Well, Vivian is being possessed by Valene. Leave Valene to Titania, she's got it." Cornelius looked at me lovingly.

"Why leave it to a woman?!" A shout rang out and I felt my annoyance bubbling up. Cornelius was better at restraining himself, but I could see tension in his posture.

"Because Titania is the only one who can wield the sword of mirrors, and that is the only way to kill Valene once and for all. You can kill all the demons you want, Derick, but Titania will take care of Valene." Cornelius's tone was authoritative, like a true ruler. I knew one day he'd be a great king.

"Yes, your highness." Derick's voice sounded fearful, as if Cornelius was scaring him. Which he probably was.

"Ok! Battle strategies! While Titania fights Valene, we need to take care of Valene's army. I suggest half the army enters from one side, and the other half enters the other side. We need to have Valene's army completely surrounded so that there is no escape for them." Everyone agreed with Cornelius's plan and we began training. I wasn't training with everyone else, as I had the sword of mirrors and needed to learn how to use it. The only one who could help me with that was Azalea, and she preferred to be teaching me somewhere more private. We agreed we wouldn't go to the death forest, but somewhere closer to the palace.

How about Mirella's house? I suggested to Azalea.

Uhh, no.

How about the back of the castle?

No.

Then where, Azalea?! I'm not as familiar with this land as I am with the light faery land.

I think we should go to the stream on the side of the castle. It's where Madison and I created the sword of hope. Or her old sword room! That's perfect!

Ok, but where is that?

It's in the castle basement, lowest level.

Yeah, easy enough. Castle basement, lowest level. I guess I'd have to ask Wisteria for better directions. Sighing, I looked towards the other warriors who were training with each other. Cornelius held a large sword with a gold hilt, and it appears he was instructing a man on proper sword handling. Kayden appears to be fighting Derick. Derick wasn't your average faery, he definitely looked younger than he really was. He seemed to be a vampire faery, which are extremely rare. When vampires and faeries lived in one realm, faeries were often bit by them and turned into an immortal fae species. Most didn't survive the Great War Of 1340 though. Derick's hair held the single streak of red that signified he was indeed a vampire faery. It honestly looked good with his black hair and pale skin, but I'd never tell him that. He seemed to be full of himself. Ofelia was off in the corner, fighting with a thin, blue haired faery. I don't remember her exact name, but I think it's something along the lines of Dahlie or Dahlia.
