I awoke to find myself laying in a cozy white bed I'd grown familiar with. I was in Cerise's office. I fluttered my eyes to clear my sight and found that I was indeed in the nurse's office. Typing sounded near the bed and I turned to find Cerise typing on a computer furiously. Her brows were tightly furrowed and her mouth was in a straight line. She stopped typing for a moment as if she sensed I was awake and gasped.

"Princess Titania? You're awake?!" She asked, almost in shock.

"Yeah, how long was I out?"

"About a week, but I don't understand how you could've survived such a sword wound. It was very deep and you still are bleeding relatively fast.." she trailed off and looked at my outfit, which didn't have a speck of blood on it.

"T-that shouldn't be possible! I just checked you this morning and you were bleeding a lot!" She stammered. I shrugged and looked down at my outfit. I was wearing a white hospital gown and didn't see a single drop of blood.

"Thank you Tiaris." I said, praising the goddess of health for doing so well healing me. A breeze tickled my hair as if she heard me and was replying.

"Tiaris? What happened?" Cerise asked me, crossing her arms. I sighed and told her everything that happened since I stabbed myself to now. When I was finished, her jaw was just about down to the floor.

"Wow-that's a lot." She stammered again. I nodded.

"Well, I guess since you're awake now, I'd better go get everyone." She sighed and walked out the door. Once again, I was left alone in my thoughts. So much had happened since I ran away from the light faery realm and bumped into Cornelius. I remember going on that mission, attempting to find Moria and Henry dark, and what they said. I wondered what their fate had become after the battle. Had they survived? Had they died? Were they cowards and ran away? I remembered the first demon attack at the cabin and trying pasta and breadsticks for the first time.

As I was lost in thought, the door burst open and loud banging footsteps ringed through my ears. I was pulled into a crushing hug, breaking my thoughts.

"Titania!!!" Ofelia's shrill wail sounded directly in my eardrums as she hugged me tight. I looked up to see her hair matted and eyes bloodshot. She honestly looked like a mess. She wore a ripped dress that looked so worn out.

"Ofelia!" I wailed back. Her arms tightened around me until I couldn't breathe.

"Ofelia, too tight." I wheezed out, but she laughed darkly.

"Oh, I have every right to squeeze you tightly today. You died, Titania! You stopped breathing when Cornelius carried you back to the palace! For the entire week, I was non-vocal and didn't come out of my room, everyone had to bring me food. I didn't brush my hair, shower, or any of that. So, you can imagine the only cure to me feeling better is you being back, which you are!" She cried into my shoulder, continuing to hug me. A tap on my shoulder had me looking up, but Ofelia wouldn't let me move.

"Hey sis." Kayden said, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand. He didn't look much better than Ofelia, in all truth. His eyes were red and his hair was all knotted and staticky. He wore an outfit that was completely worn out and ripped.

"Hi Kayden." I wheezed out, trying to ease Ofelia off of me. Ofelia refused to budge and just squeezed me even tighter and I gasped. Kayden chuckled, but it sounded forced.

"Ofelia, you can hug me all you want later, but there are others here who I'd like to greet." I said gently, trying to loosen Ofelia's hold on me. Ofelia slowly allowed me out of her embrace, and Kayden stepped right in. He wrapped his arms around me tightly, but not nearly as tight as Ofelia. When he let go, he wiped tears from his eyes once more, but had a small smile on his face.

"Welcome back, Nia." He said, embracing me once more. I smiled. When he let go of me finally, I looked around the room to see Azalea, cowering in the corner. Her straight blonde hair was tied up in a messy braid and thrown over her shoulder. Her light blue eyes connected with mine and they seemed to cower back inside of her. She wore a long, blue sundress that had golden floral outlines on it. Standing up on wobbly legs, I walked over to her and hugged her gently. She seemed shocked for a moment but seemed to relax after a short while. When I let go of her, she smiled.

"Why did you do it?" She asked me, and I could only assume she meant me saving her from hell.

"Because you're too good for hell and didn't get a real chance at life. You deserve a second chance to start anew." I told her honestly. Tears welled up in her eyes as I spoke and she smiled slightly wider.

"Thank you, Titania. You've done so much for me."

"Me? You literally helped me save the world from evil!" I laughed.

"I suppose I did. But, you know, when I came back and saw your dead body, I almost collapsed. I can't believe how deep you stuck the sword in!" She said, slightly chuckling.

"Wasn't I supposed to stick it in deep?" I asked her, a little confused. She nodded.

"Yes, but you stuck it in way too deep." I nodded, now understanding. I did kind of stick the sword in so it sliced through my entire body. I guess that was a little much and made it harder for Cerise to heal me. At least Tiaris was on my side.

The door burst open again and I turned to find Falicia running towards me. She wrapped me up in a warm, comforting hug and I relaxed into her embrace. She pulled away to look me straight in the eyes.

"You almost died." She asked but it sounded more like a statement.

"She did die." Ofelia stated.

I nodded.

"Yes, I did die but I'm back!" I said the last word singing. Falicia slowly shook her head but smiled widely.

"So much has happened since you've been gone." She told me, being cryptic.

"Well, do share!" I exclaimed.

"I found my mate! His name is Alpha Everett." She clapped excitedly. I smiled widely at her.

"I'm so happy for you!" I squealed. But then a thought occurred to me.

"Where's Cornelius?" I asked the room.

"He's in a meeting right now, he'll be down shortly." Kayden said, looking at the door. Just when he was peeling his eyes away, the door slammed open and Cornelius burst into the room, never stopping until he was in front of me. He looked me up and down, as if checking for injuries.

"Are you ok?" He demanded me to answer.

"I'm fine." I replied, looking him straight in the eye. He sighed and his demanding behavior changed to a softer, more easy going manner. He sighed and closed the distance between us, embracing me. I got comfortable in his embrace and we just stood there. When he pulled away, he took my hand.

"Don't ever do that again." He growled and looked me straight in the eye. I gulped and nodded. We walked over to the bed I woke up on and he set me down. I sighed and got myself comfortable, knowing I'd be in here for a while.

"What happened?" Kayden asked me, and I to,d them everything from the time I died and to now. Azalea had already told them about everything else, so that was at least taken care of.

"What do you think Sorcha meant by 'next task'?" Ofelia asked, pondering. I shrugged.

"I really don't know, but I do know that whatever it is, I will succeed. Sorcha and Ophine have faith in me, and I don't plan on letting them down." Everyone nodded.

"Whatever that task is, we'll figure it out." Azalea said, sitting down next to me. I smiled and nodded. Ofelia sat on my other side and we all relaxed into each other. Whatever the gods and goddesses had in store for us, we'd face it together.
