"Don't forget your bag!" Ed yells to ridicule me before I leave.
"Shut up shortass!" I yell back, sprinting out the door with my bag, fearing the consequence of insulting him.
Yachi said that she had some revelation with her mom and that she's going to drive us to school for a reason beyond my understanding.
I mean, I'm not complaining. Unfortunately I couldn't get a lie in because it's the only time she could drop us off before she has work, but it beats walking and taking the bus.
This does mean, however, that we got to school earlier, which then leads to us heading to the gym to surprise and help out two certain early-bird first years.
So now that we're caught up, Yachi and I are, in fact, not helping them. But instead, eaves dropping on their conversation.
"Wow, Kageyama~kun, I didn't know you had the emotional availability to feel something like that, so fast too!" Hinata teases. He was bugging Kageyama to spill a secret for what seemed like and eternity.
"Shut your trap, shortass!" he fights, "Don't act like you don't like-"
"Ah, no, don't say it!" Hinata screams, and from what I'm assuming, throws a ball at his face.
"YOU'RE SO DEAD!" Kageyama shouts; I seriously wouldn't be surprised if he actually has a knife in his hand.
"Ah no, if you kill me I'll tell her that you like her!"
Kageyama gasps, "I don't like anyone!"
"Thats not true," Hinata says, "you told me by accident yesterday because I wouldn't be quiet."
Wow, he admitted it.
"I didn't tell you anything! I just said that out of everyone I know that-"
The name seems to pass through my ears, because of no fault of mine. Yachi decides that this is a perfect to open a bag of crisps.
"Shut up!" I order, snatching them and eating them myself silently.
"I can't believe you zoned out when he said who he likes!" Yachi whisper-shouts at me.
"It's not my fault!" I defend, "You know I always stop thinking randomly. I can't believe you were rattling with that fucking food packet when it was just getting good."
"Yeah, but they're so good," she whines, trying to snatch them back but I shove them all down my throat.
"I know, they're like heaven in a bag," I add, gasping, "oh my God, what if he met someone at the match against Aoba Johsai with that really cute setter, I sort off forgot his name."
Yachi musteres out a suspicious 'maybe' and I barge in the gym, throwing open the doors.
"So the fast-attack-duo both have crushes," I spit confidently, causing both boys to blush.
"W-what?" Kageyama winces, "No!"
"Awe," I coo, "you're acting like I just trod on your tail, I heard enough to know that you're lying."
Kageyama's face somehow gets an even deeper red and he tenses up a lot.
"So, who's the lucky girl?" I tease, ending with him to relax a bit more.
"You... Really didn't hear?" he asks relievingly.
"If I did, I wouldn't be asking." I answer winking, "So, what's she like?"
"W-well," he begins, tensing up again.
This guy is really awkward.
"I, uh, don't like anyone," he spits, staying in denial. "I'd rather die than meet a girl that wont get out of my head, that would suck so bad." his head bows, casting a shadow over his eyes as his fists clench up.
