Chapter 26

Seven

I felt a terrible headache right after I opened both of my eyes. It feels like everything is spinning and I can't manage to carry myself up.

The sunrays from the window are shining excessively and it made my vision to become blurry. I never felt this kind of thing and everything is very foreign. I sat up in bed as I recall the happenings last night.

"Fuck!" I hissed and touched my head.

I wasn't able to pull myself off in bed because of a pillow that hit me right in my face.

"What the fuck!" I screamed.

"You're finally awake, you dumb demon!"

I opened my eyes again and saw Crow leaning beside the door. He's still wearing Angelus' pink pajamas while glaring at me.

What did I do this night?

"Ano?" I asked right after I pulled off the blanket in my body.

"Really? You'll ask me?"

"I haven't done anything wrong! What's up with you?" Sigaw ko sa kanya.

He let out a sarcastic laugh and ran towards me. Mabilis niyang hinawakan ang damit ko at sinigawan.

"You can't fucking remember!?"

I was dumbfounded because of his anger. Crow doesn't do jokes and he's serious most of the time. But why is he angry?

"You can't remember what you did last night with Angelus?" He asked again.

He looks really furious because of his raging eyes. And I can't recall everything. The only thing that I remembered is that, we drank some beers last night and I fell asleep right after.

"What do you mean? We both drank an alcohol and I passed out. Why are you so furious?"

Malakas niyang binitiwan ang damit ko at tumawa. Napahawak ulit ako sa ulo ko dahil umiikot parin ang paligid. I never knew that alcohol will have this effect in me. I shouldn't have drink those cheap-flavored-water.

"You fucking gave her my contractual ring, you moron!" Crow shouted.

My jaw literally dropped after hearing his words. Mabilis kong kinapa ang singsing sa bulsa ko pero wala akong maramdaman na kahit na ano. Napatingin ulit ako kay Crow na ngayon ay binabalatan na ako ng buhay gamit ang mga mata niya.

"I gave her... What?"

"Argh!"

Crow left me with his jaw-dropping news and I couldn't help myself but to be apathetic.

Napaupo ako sa kama nang biglang pumasok lahat sa akin ang alaala tungkol sa nangyari kagabi.

"Please take this ring as a form of my loyalty to you. Let the underworld rejoice as I vow to protect you at all times and give you everything that I have. Let your eyes lit up my darkest path and touch me with your sacred soul. For even if this is sin and shall always be felonious, I vow to surrender my heart and give it all to you. From this day forward, my darkest heart will always be yours."

I gave a vow to her.

I used the contractual ring to give a vow to her.

What was I thinking?

Contractual rings are supposed to be given by a demon to another demon. Only demons and nobody else. And I ought to give her my what? My darkest heart? Why did I spoke those cheezy shits!?
