Second route; 3. Cute bug

A cold milky taste melted in my mouth, finally lowering down my body temperature. The shadow of the huge tree was actually helping a lot. There was few students around us but not that many. After all it's forbidden to enter for people who isn't part of the school.

I didn't receive my mission prize yet. I think it'll end when I met Sora again.

I looked at my watch, only a hour has passed. Sakura and I have eaten three ice cream each and still wasn't satisfied.

The exam will take four hours in total so I still have a lot of time....

"ONEE-SAN!!! I'm here on the rooftop!! I just finished my exam! WHERE ARE YOUUU!"

I can hear some speaking through a megaphone. The scariest part was he is someone I know, more like someone I brought here.

Of course it's impossible. I probably misheard it. After all I'm under a lot of stress...

"Haha, what's wrong with that kid? Is he insane?"

"Yeah. Yelling like a madman all of a sudden... this way he'll be expelled before even starting school"

"I doubt he'll be able to enter. He probably abandoned his exam to search for his sister"

"......"

People around me proved that it's a reality. A very bitter reality where I want to dig a hole and hide in there forever.

"ONEE-SAN!! CAN YOU HEAR ME? IF SHE'S NOT HERE THEN PLEASE EVERYONE DO ME A FAVOR AND CONTACT ASUKA YOSHINO!"

Without any shame he continued and even mentioned my name.

"Y-yoshino, t-that person is your...."

Sakura muttered but I didn't get to hear the rest of her sentence. I had no choice but to dash towards the rooftop to stop this craziness.

What's this bastard doing here? There's a freaking three hours until the end of the exam. Even if he's a genius this much is cheating! It's not fair. Give me back my efforts and time I wasted on studying! And he finished a exam that takes four hours in one hour?

Let me repeat it again! Geniuses aren't fair.

Fortunately for me this school has five floors. And unfortunately for me I was in the garden which means I've to go to the main entrance since the back gate is locked and ran down a veerryyyy long hallway until I found the stairs and climb to the rooftop.

And I did, for the sake of my reputation no, Asuka's reputation. But it's basically mine since I'll be the one to carry out everything for few weeks.

"So...So...Sora, you idiot! Wha...What do you think y...you're doing?!" I said after slamming the door open. Because of dashing here with my full speed I was having a hard time catching my breath.

"Oh, you're here sis! You said you'll wait for me so I did my best in a hurry. But I was very sad when you wasn't there you know! Why didn't you wait for me? Did you get bored of me and decided to leave me?" He said in a very bitter tone as if he was filming a sad scene in a movie. There was even a tears in the corner of his eyes!

Oh gosh.. what's this kid talking about? No, is he even 15? His mental age must be around three at best.

I had to be nice, but not too nice...

I can't even understand the meaning of this sentence I'm repeating in my head for the whole day.

"Of...of course not. I was meeting with a friend while waiting for you in the garden. And you were supposed to come out at 14:00 o'clock!"

"So you're saying you were just late?"

"Yes. So stop being a crybaby and come here. Let's go and buy some ice cream" I said. He finally wiped his tears away and walked towards me.

"Y-you remembered?"

"Remember what?"

"The fact that I like ice cream?"

His eyes were shining like a kid that was about to open his Christmas gift.

I felt extremely guilty because I was planning to buy myself one. Of course it's natural to buy one for him since he's tagging along but... 

"I'm so moved. To think nee-san would remember what I like and even buy it for me.."

He really misunderstood it. I hate kids but I'm not heartless enough to break that hopeful eyes.

We sat in a cafe and waited for Sakura to order something together.

The very unfortunate thing in this route is I don't have the limitless amount of money. That's why I'll let Sakura pay since she's rich.

I'm glad I tried many things before with my limitless money. But still having a rich friend is great. That's why I'm looking at the menu and spotting everything that looks delicious. Sora on the other hand was sitting opposite me obediently whilst eating an ice cream I bought for him from the shop earlier.

"Onee-san, are we waiting for someone?"

"Yes. My friend I mentioned earlier will be coming soon. She'll treat us"

More like I'll make her treat us.

"I see. Your friend is a girl right?"

"Mhm"

Wait, that question was definitely weird. Why's he concerned about my friend being a girl?

"Haah~ did you two wait long?" Sakura asked and sat down next to me. She was sweating a lot and looked extremely tired. She texted me that when I ran to the rooftop she ran after me but we seem to used different stairs.  We had already left the rooftop by the time she got there.

When I called her after exiting the school building she was still at the rooftop. I guessed she's a bit slow runner.

"Sakura, he's my brother Ikeda Sora. And Sora, she's my friend Yoshimoto Sakura"

"Nice to meet you Ikeda-san. As you can see I'm your sister's childhood friend. She didn't mention about having such a cute brother before. Let's get along" Sakura cheerfully said and raised her hand, expecting a handshake with a warm smile that can melt everyone's hear.

If it's like this then there's a chance of him falling in love with her at first sight. I wonder what'll happen to the game scenarios if the capture targets fall in love with someone other than me...

But the reality has slapped me on the cheek hard by Sora's unusually cold tone.
