The last time when I saw her, she had to go back with drunk Christopher, who came to threaten me.

"Bro, chill", Tyler tells me, pointin' on my fingers tapping nervously on the table. "I get that you're nervous, but you need to calm down, otherwise..."

"Okay!", I cut him. "Okay, I will..."

I didn't want to allow my mind to think about what would happen if I didn't win. I don't want to go back there. To allow darkness to steal my mind and screw all of this. To steal my win. To steal her.

I don't see her as an award. I see her as my savior. Finally, someone who can understand me. Not in a world, I thought that girl like her existed. I thought that all girls were only using us for popularity or pleasure. I didn't know that they could be broken just like me. But I should know not to be with broken ones. 'Cuz two broken people can never be together. Never. But I didn't know that. I thought that we would be together. And fight together. Survive together. Heal each other. But we broke each other even more. We thought that we were good for each other, we didn't know we were poisonous to one another.

We thought that we were good for each other, we didn't know we were poisonous to one another

Today is the fight. Christopher has been at the gym the whole day. I'm very nervous. I don't want to see Michael covered in blood, barely moving his body. I don't want to see him dead, because I know that Christopher is a monster and I don't know will he lose himself and kill his prey, because he's a fucking animal. He only cares for his own survival.

"What kind of fight is that?", Myles asks me, while drinking coffee which I made us. He has no idea what's going on. And honestly, I don't want him to know.

"I don't know." I shrug, taking a hot mug in my hands. "He didn't tell me."

"I thought he stopped fighting. I hate when he fights", he murmurs.

"Did h-he k-killed someone during a fight?", I stutter and shiver at the same time. Myles lifts his gaze and looks me into eyes. I can't decipher what he's thinking about right now.

"No."
