"Was she that mad?" Louis laughed.
"Do you have to ask it a million times?"
"Sorry." He says, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
"Ah. Just the couple I was looking for." Toni interrupts.
Louis and I turn our heads at each other and looked back at Toni who had her arms crossed.
"As you both know, Homecoming is just around the corner. I suggest buying your tickets before they ran out."
"Sure..." I shrugged, hesitantly.
As Toni walked away with her so-called "allies", Louis twirls me around like a princess and says,
"Homecoming?"
It was probably 5 seconds when I was thinking if he was real. Is this for show? I was surprised by his sudden action. I didn't want to assume anything so, I let out a huge smile on my face.
"Why not?"
Near my locker was a huge list of sports coming up for the school's annual sports week where all homeroom classes get to join in. There are three types of sports that you could play, the very hard ones; include those that have balls involved like basketball. Another type is board games, like chess, which I will sign up for, obviously. And last, the fun games or what the varsity teams call, "the boring games". Because these fun games include simple pass the ball, tug o war, or stack the cups. I find those games very amusing in fact. They serve as an extra thing to join in and of course to have fun in for those students who don't like playing very harsh sports.
Before getting ready for the sports week, I had to prepare for homecoming in advance. So, I had my personal stylist/aunt to come to help me. We're at this boutique. I'm entirely clueless about it, Aunt Julie says that it's been here for quite a long time. Surprisingly, she knows one of the employees who helped me choose my outfit.
"Here." Aunt Julie says, handing a dress that was too puffed. It looked full like a bell.
In return, I gave her a look signaling that the dress is too much and all I wanted was a simple one.
She sighed as I took a glance to my right where this gorgeous dree caught my eye. It was a dark violet cocktail dress. Just that simple, not too much, just right.
"I see you eyeing at that dress." The sales lady asked.
"I sure am."
"Why don't you try it on?" Aunt Julie suggested, pushing me into the fitting room together.
I shifted my body left to right, I couldn't believe how pretty it looked on me. I'm giving all the credit to this dress.
"Sunny! Are you done?'
"Just a second!"
"You look beautiful."
We paid for the dress (aunt Julie did) and went around to find a shoe store. I managed to find myself the perfect shoes. It had no heels and it was plain white. Of course, Aunt Julie couldn't help but disagree.
"You're serious, right?"
"Yes. Why?"
"Could you at least take a look at what I picked?" she begged.
Aunt Julie found a pair of heels with a similar color to my dress. It looked like a glass slipper but it was not. It was just transparent and simple. With all honesty, I think they are really pretty even with the dress. All I feared was wearing high shoes. I might trip and everyone would laugh at me for being such a dummy when it comes to heels, especially because I'm also a model.
