"I'm sorry I can't be there for Christmas." Aunt Julie apologizes.

It was expected that she spends Christmas with me here in London. But Paris' fashion week caught her up and her boss decided to keep her away from me a little longer.

"So where are you spending Christmas?"

"With Louis' family," I answer, sadly.

"Good,"

"Now where were the 'rubbers' I got you?" she chuckles.

"I threw them away."

I paused. "Why?"

"Did you use them...?" she smirks.

"Aunt Julie!"

"I was joking."

"I miss you."

"I miss you too; Sunny."

Tuesday, I wait for Louis outside our apartment building. I entered the car and turn to Louis who looked adorable as always in his uniform. Damn it, does seeing Louis Partridge in a school uniform just makes your heart jump up and down like a Mexican jumping bean?

"Alright?"

"Yeah. I'm just sad that Aunt Julie wouldn't be able to spend Christmas with me."

"Aren't you happy to spend Christmas with...me?"

"Of course I am. It's just different." I sigh as Louis started the car.

Louis and I have two classes together; biology and Spanish. We have this project for biology wherein we're going to dissect a small octopus.

I dig deep inside the aquatic animal and give Louis a smirk.

"Watch it," I demand.

I open the middle wider and repeated. "Watch it."

"No. No. No. No. Please no."

He walks out, leaving his surgical gloves and mask. "I can't―"

We had lunch at the diner. Two cheeseburgers and strawberry milkshakes.

"You were looking sad this morning..." Louis begins when I tilt my head for a bite from my burger.

"So...?"

"I need you to read this." He demands, bringing out a piece of paper that was folded into four parts on the table.

I was eager enough to open it but my hands are greasy.

"You want me to hold it―"

"Yes, please."

He holds up the paper in front of my face; way too close.

"Ok, close much?"

"Oops, sorry." He chuckles.

"Here, better?"

"OH MY GOD! Is that?"

He lifts his hands in excitement "A plane ticket! We're going to Paris!"

I paused, "Wait, we?"

"Yes."

"Booked it up as soon as you told me you were alone for Christmas."

"I honestly want to hug you right now but my hands are just―"

"Hug me later."

"Indeed I will." I smile.
