Sunny and Louis have been best friends for a while now. They do everything together. But that was until Louis dated Toni. Sunny didn't really care; what mattered most to her was their friendship.
What if something else mattered more? What else can...
While Aunt Julie kept herself busy, Louis and I would go around Paris and visit almost everything here. Well, it was mostly him who took me to different places I should see.
We ate breakfast on a bench near the Eiffel tower, ate lunch in a restaurant by the river, and constantly buying pastries.
It's 3 in the morning and Louis and I are running along the streets, laughing and laughing. Too much laughing perhaps. People might have thought we were drunk but we were indeed sober.
We end up in front of the Eiffel tower. The night was silent and all the lights were on. The moon is carved so thin, it's a thumbnail clipping in the sky. We're the only ones here; only the soft sound of crickets and the silent sound of the leaves falling.
My scarf was being flown by the wind as I smiled. "I love this city."
"I love you." Louis smiles.
"What did you just say?"
"I love you." He repeats.
"I heard you the first time."
My breath catches. "I just want to make sure it was real."
