Sunny and Louis have been best friends for a while now. They do everything together. But that was until Louis dated Toni. Sunny didn't really care; what mattered most to her was their friendship.
What if something else mattered more? What else can...
I feel a rush of emotion in my chest. "I love you too."
"Look, I know that I love you because I feel it every time I'm with you. I just can't admit it to myself."
I feel like I'm blushing, hopefully, I'm not. I'm glad I said what I said because it made Louis's eyes go soft and so did mine.
I'm standing in front of a guy I know I liked but I couldn't accept the fact that I did.
I didn't have to worry about Toni anymore because it wasn't her who spends at least 24/7 with Louis; it was me.
I walk a few inches closer to him as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
Suddenly he asked under his breath, "What is this now?"
Fluffing his scarf, I look up to him and smile. "Nothing,"
I'm feeling dizzy. I am now a girl who is loved, by a boy, and not just her aunt, teachers, and friend. A boy with the face of an angel and a sleight of hand.
"I've been going crazy without you." He scrubs the back of his head.
"Can't we just―"
"You're saying I drive you crazy too?" I interrupt.
He manipulates the situation and avoids my question. "Did you say, 'too'?"
I give him a look, urging him to answer anyway.
"I'm saying you drive me more crazy than any other girl I met." He groans.
