After school, I go to meet my group mates for computer. Surprisingly, half of us were one of the "smart kids". The horrible part is that Toni was part of the group, not the smart kids, just to be clear. She sits two chairs apart from me with her leg up on the table as she was doing her.

"Ok, so what's our theme?"

"What's our theme?" Toni mimics from afar.

"What about peer facilitation?"

She mimics again.

I stood up from my chair and bang my hand onto the table furiously.

"If you're gonna be such a bitch and you don't want to help; then don't."

"Of course I won't."

I grunt and walked out of the library.

The next time Aunt Julie and I video-chat. I break the news. She's sitting at her desk wearing a Fair Isle sweater, hot pink and apple green, her hair tied in a messy bun wearing her glasses with a mug she's drinking tea out of.

"So how's it going? It's my birthday tomorrow and you're not here." I sigh, nestling my laptop on my lap getting cozy against my pillows.

"Guess who's part of the group I was assigned in for computer class?"

"Who?"

"Toni Stinch."

Aunt Julie practically chokes on her tea. "That brat? Oh, you're not serious, right?"

"Oh. I'm serious."

"Isn't she Louis' ex-girlfriend? How's that supposed to keep you focused?"

Yes. I told her. She knows that I am now Louis' girlfriend. Well, I didn't tell her that it was only for show.

"I'll be fine."

"She doesn't even know that we're gonna be given individual grades and not one whole group grade." I snort.

"Did you tell her?"

"No. Ms. Shane discussed it with us before proceeding to our group."
