Homecoming is TODAY. All of the girls are probably stressed out for shopping while I relax. It's 5:30 and I'm at home. Soon, Aunt Julie's friends; who are makeup artists and hairdressers will be coming. I think around 6:00 because homecoming starts at 7:30.

"Straight or wavy?"

"I'd like my hair straight please."

I turned from side to side. Making sure I look great. I wasn't impressing anyone. I just want to make sure that I'm alright. The doorbell rang as I walked slowly on my heels (I'm not used to it!)

"That's him!" Aunt Julie squeals.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"You look pretty." Louis stutters.

Louis was probably 40% thinking that I was indeed pretty and 60% remembering that he only likes Toni.

Letting himself in he asked, "What are you doing?"

"Well, I was getting ready when a guy came in looking like my butler." I joke, referring to his bow tie.

"Seriously, a bow tie?"

"What's wrong?"

"I think I have a necktie here."

I went through my closet and searched for a necktie. I remember wearing one for a photo shoot.

I handed it to him, "Here we are."

He wraps it around his neck and struggles to tie it properly.

I walk closer to Louis, "Let me help you."

"You always do." He chuckles.

I tied his necktie and looked up to him wide a smile on my face.

"You...look―"

"Louis! Sunny!" Aunt Julie interrupts.

"C'mon!"

We arrive at exactly 7:23. I felt so nervous, even though I couldn't see it, I felt like everyone was whispering as I walked with Louis.

"May I? M'lady?"

I took Louis' hand as he walked me to the dance floor. He wraps my arms on his neck and his on my waist.

"Should we eat at the diner after?"

"Sure."

I turn away and looked back. I wanted to be sure if what I'm about to say is fine.

I stutter, "Louis?"

"Hmm?"

Under my breath, I nervously reply. "You know, being your girlfriend was great. I never knew how it felt like to be one."

"Being your boyfriend was lovely. I got to spend more time with you more often." He smiles.

After dancing, we went to get a drink. We had to sit on the table where Toni was. Her presence frightens me but at the same time, it makes me angry. Just taking a glance at her makes me clench my fist.

I excused myself to the bathroom. It wasn't an excuse, I really needed to pee. "Excuse me."

I looked at myself in the mirror and washed my hands. For a moment I was feeling dizzy, like everything around me is spinning. I constantly opened and closed my eyes again. The rest, I have forgotten. I blacked out.

I woke up and looked around. I was in a dark room, my hand tied behind a chair with my feet. I had no shoes on anymore.

I wonder, 'Who would've done this?'

A shadow came closer to me. My vision was still blurred so it wasn't easy for me to identify who it was.

"What a pleasant evening, right?"

I knew who it was through the person's voice.
