Today's Aunt Julie's last breakfast before leaving for Paris. Louis and I are packing up the cab with her stuff as she ate the perfectly made breakfast I had for her.

"Who's gonna stay while your aunt's in Paris?" Louis asks as I handed him a piece of luggage.

"Me. I'll be an independent woman."

"Good luck with that." He smiles.

It's still early, earlier than I could've woken up on a school morning. So, as soon as Aunt Julie left, I made Louis and me banana pancakes.

We walk into school with that cold fresh Monday breeze. I'm wearing Aunt Julie's Fair Isle sweater that she left behind.

Louis needed to stop in the computer lab to print his English Literature paper.

"When is that due?"

"On Friday."

"Ohhhh" I paused, "Isn't that before your audition?"

He nods.

"What's the perfect score?"

Louis takes out the papers from the printer as we walked out.

"150."

"Woah." I gasp.

"Let me guess, you got a 150?"

"149 to be exact." And we both chuckled.

"Hey, do we have plans after school?"

"I don't think so. I have soccer practice today and I'm having dinner in your apartment."

"Ok. I have this group project for computer class and it's about HTML." I paused, "You're having dinner at my apartment?"

"Yeah."

"Who told you?"

"Me."

"Ok, so my aunt just left and you're already inviting yourself for dinner?"

"No. I just want to keep you company." He chuckles.
