"Really? Everyone thought we broke up?" Louis laughs.
I scoop a spoon of ice cream in my mouth. "Yeah. It's like everyone comes up to me and says: 'I'm sorry'."
As promised, Louis and I are having dinner at the diner. He did suggest tea and I was like, no way! A girl's gotta eat!
In between laughs, Louis says, "It's been so long since we last ate here."
"Yeah."
I pause. "Oh, I forgot. My first day at the Junior Designer's team is next week."
"Are you gonna be here at that time?" I add.
"I think so."
On the way home...
"I'm glad you decided to branch out and try something new." Louis smiles with his hands in his pockets.
"Thank you." I sighed. "It's just..."
"What?"
"It's horrible, the fact that you are in London but...busy."
"I'm really sorry; Sunny." He apologizes. "I promise, you'll see me every second of the day again."
"Too much that you'll get annoyed," Louis adds. I pinch his cheek after his cute action.
Louis walks me to our apartment and decided to come up and say hi to Aunt Julie.
"Hi!" he greeted when a little girl ran in front of us with Aunt Julie behind.
"Oh, you guys are here." She smiles. "This is Lily. Cammy's daughter."
I carry the adorable little girl. "Cammy has a daughter?"
Aunt Julie sighs a tired sort of sigh. "What can I say, like mother like daughter."
"Hello there," Louis says, slightly clipping his fingers on Lily's small nose.
"Here, let me take a picture of you three."
"I'll send it to Cammy," she added.
Louis carries Lily onto his arms and I scootch in so we could fit in the picture.
"Aww, it looks adorable." Aunt Julie says, motioning us to come to see.
"Woah." I cough. "That's an odd-looking picture."
I look at the picture closely. It's strange how Louis was carrying the little girl and I smiling with him. It is really adorable but I couldn't help but cringe if the picture were to happen for real.
"Yeah, it is." Louis laughs hesitantly. "Anyways, I'll be on my way now."
"I'll just take him downstairs."
"That little girl is surely cute." He chuckles, before taking a few steps outside our apartment building.
"I'll see you on...Monday?" I asked. "Or Friday?"
Louis gives a peck on the lips. "Monday."
"I love you!" I yell as he ran.
"I love you more!"
