Soon after the airport, we passed the Charles de Gaulle terminal before going to our hotel.
"It's really cold here," Louis complains.
"I never imagined it to be this cold." He adds, turning to me.
Puppy eyes started to form in his face, hoping that I would offer him to borrow my coat. And then, he would disagree with my offer maybe 3 or 4 times before he actually says yes. I guess it is a way of being polite?
Well, I had a fair isle sweater on and coat over it. I knew it was going to be this cold.
"I can't change the weather." I grin.
"So, which hotel are we staying at?"
I took a glance at Louis who was scratching the back of his neck as he stutters. "H-hotel?"
"Please don't tell me you forgot."
"I didn't. I just thought we'd be staying at your aunt's."
"No, we are not!"
"I thought she had an apartment here."
"Yes, but it can only house one person."
"Shall we find a hotel then?"
"We should."
We pulled our bags along the busy streets of Paris. We've been to 3 hotels and they're all fully booked. We pass by a building that's a bit near the Eiffle tower. It wasn't a hotel but a motel.
"We have no choice."
