That night Chai tossed and turned in her sleep and it wasn't because of the boats rocking. Her covers have long been kicked off and onto the floor. Normally the girl slept like a rock pretty much dead to the world until the sun rose. But this night was very different as her dreams took on a new form.

"Hello! Heeeellllloooooo!" Chai called out

She was walking alone in a large open rocky chasma and around her were sky-high mountains.

"This is much different than what I normally dream," Chai said

She continued to walk, seeming to get nowhere when she came to an abrupt stop. Quickly turning around she spotted something scurrying away around a rocky corner.

"Ah-ha! You're that thing from the South Pole!" Chai shouted before she took off after it.

Whatever the thing was, it was fast, Chai only catching glimpses of it as it ran. The thing was leading up to the side of a mountain, the girl not deterred as she climbed and did her best to keep up.

"I'm gonna get you!" Chai said

She hauled herself up and over a ledge, reaching the top of the mountain.

"Ah-ha! Nowhere to....run?"

Chai looked around confused seeing nothing there.

"What the? Where'd it go?"

She looked all around but found no trace of anything.

"Well, this blows."

Chai huffed as she sat at the edge of the mountain. She gazed out at the vast horizon taking in the view. She could see the tip of the sun peeking over the horizon.

"Well, at least it looks nice up here. Hey, wait..."

Chai stood up squinting as she looked at something in the distance.

"I know that place."

Suddenly a thunderous roar echoed through the sky and Chai turned around to be met with molten golden eyes.

Chai's eyes shot open, and she sits up only to be sent back down as a sharp pain blossoms from her forehead.

"Ow!" Two voices shouted

Chai winced sitting up again, this time holding her forehead that now had a red mark forming. She looked up to see Mako holding his forehead as well, as a red mark developing on his forehead too.

"Mako? What were you doing?" Chai questions

"Trying to wake you up. We just docked at Republic City. Man, what is your forehead made of?" Mako winced

"My family always did say I had a hard head," Chai said

Varrick's yacht docked at the harbor and awaiting the group was none other than Chief Lin Beifong.

"Welcome home, Avatar. Thanks for starting a war," Lin sarcastically said

"I didn't start a war. Well, I did, but it's more complicated than you're making it seem," Korra said

"Mako, I want you back on the beat. There's going to be a Southern Water Tribe peace march tonight. I need you there to make sure things don't get out of hand," Lin said

"I'm all yours," Mako said

"I'll go too. The people of the South need to see that the Avatar is on their side in the fight against the Northern invaders," Korra said
