The next day Chai found herself pacing back and forth, hand on her chin with a contemplative look on her face. Before her was a large wall map of the Earth Kingdom.
Wrapped around her shoulders was Dawn and sitting on her head was Pabu.
"Hmm....Where o where could those boys be?"
Chai grabbed a pen and circled a large area circumferencing the Misty Palm Oasis. She then made a mark on the Earth Kingdom.
"Zaheer and his crew were in Ba Sing Se, but did they take Mako and Bolin with them?"
Suddenly the sound of Druk howling echoed in the air followed by a loud thud.
"Huh?"
Chai turned away from the map at the sound of the dragon. Pabu raised his head looking at the exit of the room before hopping off Chai and running out.
"Hey, Pabu, where are you going?" Chai called out
Dawn raised his head as well and unwrapped himself from Chai before leaving the room as well.
"Dawn, you too? Where are you guys going?!"

Mako, Bolin, and their family walked to the center of the Misty Palms Oasis to the fountain.
"Okay, guys. We think Korra found her way back here."
As he addressed his family, Bolin didn't notice Pabu climb onto his shoulders.
"Now let's split off into teams and scour the town. Yes, we'll need your help too, Pabu, now just give me a second while I-" Bolin gasped. "-wait, Pabu? Pabu!" He happily cried hugging the animal.
"Why is Bolin hugging that big rat? Eww, now he's kissing it!" Yin said
"I'm never gonna let you go again!" Bolin said kissing Pabu.
"Guys, look out! Giant dog beast thingy!" Tu shouted
Everyone scatters as Naga pounces on Mako, licking his face.
"Okay, all right, Naga. It's good to see you, too. Gah! Stop! You're licking my mouth."
As Naga backs up giving Mako room to stand, something flies out and smacks him in the face.
"Ahh!"
Mako pulls the thing away revealing it to be Dawn.
"Dawn?"
The dragon stuck its tongue out flicking it over Mako's nose. The girls come running out of their lodging running towards the brothers.
"Asami! Korra! Chai!" Bolin said
"You guys are okay!" Mako said
Bolin hugs Asami and Mako hugs Korra. Chai stops short, a small frown on her face, and she looks away rubbing her arm awkwardly.
Mako pulls out the hug. "Sorry. I was just-It's so good to see you."
"It's really good to see you, too. Both of you," Korra said
Mako looks past everyone to Chai and frowns seeing the somewhat solemn look on her face. He's about to walk over to her but stops when Lin steps out.
"Good. You guys aren't dead," Lin said
"Don't get all mushy on me, Chief. Tonraq. Sir," Mako greeted
Bolin slides up in front of Zuko with a look of awe. "Oh my gosh, it's Lord Zuko! I can't believe it."
