Everyone on Air Temple Island gathered around as a massive airship approached. When it docked and the ramp was lowered Asami stepped out.
"Did someone order a fully equipped Future Industries airship?" Asami said with a smile.
"It's perfect! Thanks, Asami," Korra said
"I figured if we're going to Ba Sing Se to search for airbenders, we should do it in style," Asami said
"Asami you're the greatest!" Chai said
"Yay, airship!" Meelo cheered
"I wanna see!" Ikki made an air scooter speeding in the ship.
"C'mon, Poki."
Poki hops up, perching atop of Meelo's head. The young airbender makes an air scooter before following Ikki inside.
"While you guys are gone, Pema and I will hold down the fort," Kya said
She picked up Rohan holding him in front of her and started bouncing the baby.
"Who's excited to spend some time with your Auntie Kya?"
This turned out to be a bad idea as Rohan spat up, vomiting on Kya's chest.
"Oh!" Kya exclaimed grossed out.
"Aw, he likes you," Pema cooed
As Pema took Rohan back, Kya used some water and cleaned her outfit.
At that moment Mako appeared, walking up the temples stone steps heading towards the group.
"Mako, I'm so glad you're here," Korra said
"Of course, Korra. Avatar. Avatar Korra." Mako suddenly stood up straighter like he was a soldier addressing their superior. "Once I received your message I proceeded to contact various locations within the Earth Kingdom as ordered by you, the Avatar."
"Right, the Avatar thanks you for your loyal service," Korra said with an amused smile
Chai coughed in a fist covering up her laugh.
"Did you find any more leads?" Korra asked
Mako held out a tube that had been slung over his shoulder. "There are reports of airbenders popping up all over the Earth Kingdom. I marked the villages on this map. You guys can take it with you."
"Actually, I was kind of hoping you could come, too," Korra said
"Really? Uh, it's probably better if I sit this one out," Mako said looking away.
"I know things have been weird between us since we broke up, but you're a part of Team Avatar, and we can't do this without you," Korra said
"I'm sorry, I can't," Mako said before walking away.
Pema walked over to Tenzin placing a kiss on his cheek. "I'll miss you, sweetie."
"I'll miss you too. Once we find the airbenders, I'll send word. You can join us at the Northern Air Temple then," Tenzin said
"Hey!"
A frowning Ikki and Meelo air scooted their way towards their parents.
"How come Jinora gets to go with you but we don't? That's so not fair!" Ikki said
"Yeah! What this girl said! Not fair!" Meelo said, stomping his foot.
Tenzin and Pema looked at one another before Pema knelt closer to her children.
"Because if airbenders show up here, they're gonna need some guidance from the two of you. It's a very important job," Pema said
"Really? Me, a teacher? Yay!" Ikki cheered jumping in place.
