Chai's feet carried her out of her office. Arms held over her head, hands clasped to one another as she stretched, releasing the tension that had built up over hours of sitting.  She knew being the Fire Nation representative and liaison in Republic City would consist of paperwork, but she underestimated the mountains of paper that would cross her desk. At least she had a nice bi office within City Hall.

Maybe she should get a secret? Or at least someone else to help with the affairs.

As the young woman stepped into the main hall of the grandiose building, she was nearly run over by a man pushing a cart.

"What the-?!"

Chai threw herself back, going into a bridge as two workers rushed by with beams.

"Hey!" She shouted flipping back onto her feet. "Watch where you going!"

Several more people rushed by, Chai twisting and turning to avoid them all, in a rhythmic dance of avoiding the bustling people.

"What is going on here-?!"

Chai clicked her tongue turning around. She was ready to chew out the next person that crossed her path, demanding answers to all the chaos, but paused at the sight of something green and gold. There she spotted an Earth Kingdom banner being hung high from the rafters.

Glancing around the room, she finally took note of all the decorations being put up, how all the usual decor had been exchanged for the hues of green and gold color scheme that represented the Earth Kingdom.

"Oh riiight, the coronation," Chai said

She walked out of the grand building to only witness a stage being set up with sets of bleachers being assembled in front. Not too far Chai spotted Wu and of course, Mako was by the Prince's side.

"So then the crowds are gathered, all excited to see my coronation, when all of a sudden, these boulders come rolling through. And guess what pops out of 'em? Earthbender dames! These gals start banging the boulders like drums and sing the song of my royal lineage. It's the most dynamite six-hour show you'll ever see in your life," Wu explained.

"Shouldn't you be getting ready to, I don't know, rule a whole nation?" Mako said

"Now, now, now, don't get yourself in a tizzy. I'll have ministers for all that!" Wu put an arm around Mako's shoulders. "No, sir, Mako, when we get to Ba Sing Se, it'll just be two kooky pals, living the life!"

"Yaaaaaay," Mako said sardonically.

Raiko stepped up to the two as Chai drifted over as well.

"Getting excited for your big day?" Raiko asked Wu.

"Does a platypus-bear poop in-Hey!" Wu ran forward waving his hands at a metal bender. "You can't put bleachers there! There won't be enough room for the Dance of the Badgermoles! Look, it's going to go like this."

That is when it began. Wu started to dance, an odd shuffling of his feet paired with spinning, twisting, and synchronized arm movements. It was somehow both awkward and impressive. Those within eyes view watched with perplexed expressions.

"You sure that's the guy you want running the Earth Kingdom?" Mako questioned

"Double that worry," Chai said

Raiko jumped, startled, as he stumbled forward with a staggering step. He was fully unaware of the Fire Princess's presence, but it wasn't the first time she had done something like that.  The President coughed, quickly collecting himself as he cleared his throat, pretending as if Chai hadn't just surprised him.

"Trust me. We'll be sending a delegation of experienced advisers to handle day-to-day governing," Raiko said

Tenzin joined the group, raising a brow, bewildered eyes never once slipping from the dancing Wu.
