Ethan & Eric have different plans for the day. Javier bids farewell and drives back home with a heavy heart.
Esma finishes her breakfast and starts to clen the house. She runs some errands and its time for lunch.
She makes herself some pasta and eats it peacefully with a glass of soda.
She then runs a bath and immerse herself in the tub for
sometime till the water runs cold. She wraps herself in a towel and dry blows her hair and leaves it in clip.
She then applies some moisturiser and slips into her jeans and a beautiful white top.
By the time she gets ready Tylor is already at her place and waiting for her. She quickly grabs her mobil and purse.
She locks the door and slids into the car.
"Ms. Smith I hope you are comfortable"asks Tylor looking at her in the mirror.
"Yes! Thank you Tylor I am fine"says Esma.
It takes a while to reach the club. As soon as she reachs the club she is awe stuck by its architecture and the polished marble floors.
She is directed into the open where the match is about to begin in sometime. She meets few of her office colleagues and slips into conversation
Ryders POV:
I look outside the dressing room to find Esma seated with some of the office people.
This feels surreal. MY GIRL!! has come to see me play a match.Tiffiny sure did come for few of my matches but come to think of it she never cheered me. She literally flirted with my friends and how dumb was I not to see it. But this time the feeling
is different.
Come of think of it now I feel did I really love Tiff back then because I am sure I never felt thi way. Now when I see Esma I feel possessive and protective towards her.
We walk into the field with me keeping an eye on Esma to look at me. But she being herself does not even look at us and is busy taking to some shit head. I have Reed, Aaron,Carols and Ben with some other boys on my side. We are playing against Hunter's
company. He is as good as us and indeed a tough competation.
Now that the match has started I relly need Esma to see me or atleast Reed. The ball is passed from me to Aaron, Aaron to Reed then again from Reed to me. I tackle the on coming boys and its a TOUCHDOWN!!I look towards
Esma and she is still talking to someone instead of cheering for me.
"Look at me ESMA "I say menacingly looking in her direction.
"Concentrate Ryder!! Don't lose your shit now!!"warns Ben as he heard me talk to myself.
Again the ball is passed around and I dodge the boys again and once again go in for a TOUCHDOWN!!. I look towards my girl in joy she is busy eating popcorn!! and has not even glanced in our direction.THE FUCK!! she should be eating anything now.
"SEE ME ESMA" I shout out but she can't hear.
"Ryder control"yells Reed and Carlos. The hell I am suppose to control!! How can a girl not cheer for her guy when he GOALS!!
The match ends with we being victorious.The whole ground erupted with joy but she is busy talking to someone and just clapping not knowing what really happened.
That was it!! something snapped in me. I could hear Reed,Carlos shouting at me to calm down and I saw Javier run towards me to tackle me down but within a split second I threw the ball hard towards the spectators.
End of POV
The ball flew right at Esma's face. SMACK!! Esma stood still, the whole ground stood still looking at her. Then she collapsed.
Javier punched Ryder hard on his face and ran towards Esma like a maniac. Reed and Carlos in tow.
Javier fell next to Esma and picked her up slowly. Her nose was bleeding, lips split open and eyes were swelling.
Javier held her close to his chest and started running towards his car. Carlos raced him and started the car.
Reed sat shotgun. Javier slides himself carefully with Esma held tightly in his arms.
" Hello Mom! There's an emergency please come to the hospital now!!" says Reed with a crack in his voice.
Reed, Carlos and Javier were blank as a blank paper. They just didn't understand what happened? And why the hell did it happen?
Meanwhile, Ryder was shocked at what he had done to Esma. Ben, Aaron and Heath were left dumbstruck at just what happened. They were trying to talk to Ryder but he wasn't able to hear anything. A lone tear escapes from Ryder.
" What the hell happened Reed??" asks Hope seeing Esma's condition.
" Ryder threw the ball at Esma" says Reed clenching his fist.
" WHAT??" was all Hope managed to say.
Esma is wheeled into the emergency and cleaned and stitched up. Then she I taken for a scan to see for any head injury.
Once Hope is satisfied that there is no hurt in the head Esma is shifted to the ward. One of Esma's eyes are shut and swollen very bad. She has a small cut on the back of her head.
All the boys have cleaned and are standing in her ward waiting for her to open her eyes.
Esma slowly opens her eyes and tried to sit but falls back and groans.
" Easy there sweetheart" says Hope helping her sit up.
