No estaban exagerando cuando dijeron que la superficie era peligrosa. La exposición directa a la luz solar durante el día quemaría rápidamente a un humano, incluso con esta elegante armadura.
Eso significa que tenemos que ajustar nuestros horarios de sueño y esperar justo debajo de la superficie hasta que caiga la noche. Cuando lo haga, haremos una carrera loca hacia el obelisco, dejaremos que Santiago trabaje tanto como se atreva y luego correremos de regreso a un lugar seguro.
Demonios! Pensé que ese maldito desierto era diabólico, ¡pero esto lo supera de seguro! ¿Por qué no podíamos hacer algo simple, como huir de una manada de hambrientos Allosaurus o algo así? Esta vida que llevo, lo juro...
