Chapter 66: Enter Saya; The Z fighters' meet Jean

Tsubaki's pov

"Wait, so you're name is Holden?" Gohan asked, looking to him in confusion as I gave the same reaction. Android 22, or Holden as the little girl called him, let out a sigh and shook his head. "Yes, that was my given name before Wyatt found me." He explained, "Wait... I'm confused... Where is it that you actually came from? Did Dr. Gero build you?" Yamcha asked, looking to Android 22. "No. He did not make me.. I was born fully human, but due to a horrible accident when I was younger, I was implanted with technology. Dr. Wyatt took me from my parents when I was young, so he basically did all of this to me." He explained, "Is that little girl your sister?" Tien asked, "Yes, she is. My parents are back in my original timeline but due to the conditions there, they wanted me to take my sister with me. So I did, which is why we live here." He said, placing his sister down on the couch next to him. Currently we were all sitting in his house, trying to really understand everything that he was telling us. "So this Jean guy wants to kill your little sister?" I watched as his little sister, who he has not introduced yet, walk over to Goten and give him a high five. "He's desperate to get revenge. Anyone related to me is not safe and I don't have to power to fully keep him at bay. That's why I turned to you all for help... Here's why... Jean isn't fully human." I looked over at him, shocked at what he just said. "What do you mean by 'not fully human'?" Trunks asked, but before he could answer us the whole house shook and a loud explosion sounded which caused screaming. This sent panic into Android 22's little sister, who immediately ran over to her brother and hid behind his legs as he had been standing up. "What the hell?" Vegeta cursed, making me slap his shoulder seeing as there was a child present. Another loud explosion shook the house and the first thing I did was rush outside, with everyone following in my footsteps. When I got outside, the first thing I noticed was a large crowd of people running from down to the street from the left of us. I suddenly got an ominous feeling, as I looked back in the direction they were running from. I knew something was off and so did both Vegeta and Dad, I could tell by the looks on their faces that they felt the same thing I did. "Damn.. He tracked the house... Saya, go hide." 22 spoke sternly, the little girl bounded back in the house doing exactly as her brother said. As the crowd finally dispersed, I turned to look at 22 whose jaw was clenched firmly.

"22, what-" Before Kid Trunks could finish his sentence, a large energy blast appeared headed straight for us. Everyone quickly jumped out of the way and landed a few feet back, but I noticed that 22 had taken the hit.

"Dad."

"Yeah, I feel that."

Just as the smoke dissipated, I looked forward watching as a huge building to our exploded. Before I could say anything, a figure suddenly appeared a few feet away from us. As he floated above us, I got that same strange feeling again and a good look at him. He has short, grayish hair and he was built much like Tien, which made me realize that he must be a fighter.

"Surprised to see that you're still alive, Holden... I thought that after our last scuffle, you were near death." A deep voice resonated, from the guy standing in front of us and I didn't expect that at all. His voice was deeper than Piccolo's voice, which was odd cause I've never heard a deeper voice than his. "You thought wrong, Jean. You can't kill me that easily, not when you keep trying to kill my sister." 22 sneered, staring Jean in the eyes. "Well, I wouldn't have to kill your sister if you just took responsibility for what happened to mine." Jean snapped, his glare turning deadly. His eyes then caught onto Dad the others, as well as me. "Who are these people, huh? Some more victims you brought to help you?" He asked, looking back over at Jean. What the hell did he mean by 'more victims'? Could 22 have gone to someone else for help and that person didn't survive? If he thinks were that weak, then he's got another thing coming. I could practically feel my anger bubbling inside, when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned my head to see that the hand belonged to Trunks, he shook his head which told me to calm down.

"Victims... You're dead wrong. They aren't helpless." 22 said.

"Really? Well, let me be the judge of that." Before 22 could say anything, Jean threw a large energy ball at Kid Tsubaki and I. Having the quick reflexes I do, both of us quickly diverted the blast in an opposite direction which was away from everyone. Jean raised an eyebrow, seemingly intrigued before disappearing from in front of us. In one swift movement, Dad kicked to the left of him just as Jean appeared, the kick connected with Jean's face making him stumble backwards a bit. Obviously, he didn't think that Dad could pick up on his movement because he was fast but he was so wrong. I found it a little stupid that he didn't know who my Dad was, seeing as Dr. Wyatt had such a huge hatred for him. Jean disappeared again and this time, I could feel him directly in front of Vegeta and Trunks. I watched as both of them dodged his oncoming attack, as he appeared in front of them. After trying to test everyone in the group, he came after me and I didn't let up on my attack. I sent a hard kick to his torso, before punching him in the face which made him fly backwards a bit. Once he got his footing, he glared at me the hardest he could and kept his eyes locked with mine. I still got that ominous feeling from him as earlier, so I wasn't going to let my guard down anytime soon around him. He seemed like he was a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode, so I knew at any moment I would have to fight him with everything I had.

"You shouldn't underestimate any of us." I spoke up, stepping up to where 22 was standing.

"And why is that? Huh?" Jean quipped, raising an eyebrow at me as I stared at him.

"Because, none of us here are amateur fighters. You would know that if you watched the Cell Games, asshole. And if you think, we'll let you kill 22's sister for something she had no part in, then you are dead wrong. Cause I will not let you try to harm that little girl, not over my dead body."
