Chapter 72: Wyatt's Plea!

3rd person's pov

"H-How did you get here? H-how did you find me?" Wyatt questioned, fear was written all over his face as he looked at Jean. Jean, who was heavily seething stood just a few feet away from them. "You don't remember this little device?" He pointed to the wristwatch on his wrist, Wyatt's eyes widened as he recognized the device. This device had been used by him previously to find Kiyomi. "Why have you come here?" Jean's counterpart asked, "To get him." Jean snapped, making his counterpart look over at Wyatt. "What do you mean to get Wyatt? What did he do to you?" Holden asked. "He got the Emery from my timeline... My little sister.. Because of his stupid invention... He got her killed. And I'm going to make him pay for it." Jean explained, leaving the three in shock. "Listen to me, Emery knew what she was doing. She knew the risks." Wyatt argued. "I don't care if she knew the risks!! She was 15!! She was still just a child that you brought into this whole crusade of yours to get revenge! If you hadn't of done what you did, I wouldn't have to kill you!!" Jean threw a large ki blast at Wyatt, who jumped out of the way. The impact of the blast sent him flying backwards, as Jean's counterpart got Holden and Emery away from the area. "You think that just because you are a doctor, that you knew of the risks.. That she knew of the risks. You think it's not your fault for her death. Well, sorry to burst your bubble you stupid asshat, but it is. My sister died because of you." Jean sent another attack at him, causing Wyatt to again fly back. Wyatt coughed, as the dirt and dust settled. He got to his feet, brushing himself off but didn't realize what was going on. Jean came hurtling towards him, clotheslining Wyatt into a nearby tree. As this was going on, Jean's counterpart started evacuating the people in the area.

Meanwhile in a different timeline, 22, Yamcha and Tien were all currently looking in. "I found him!" 22 stated, causing Tien and Yamcha to look to the young android. They were floating high above West City, which had been decimated. This particular timeline happened to be the one timeline, where Cell had killed Trunks in. "You found Jean? Where is he?" Tien asked, floating over to 22. He was currently looking at the same wristwatch that Jean was carrying, this one being much better at finding people than the model Jean had on. "He's in a different timeline and this one, this one has Wyatt." He explained, as he set the watch to take them there. "Meaning what?" Yamcha asked, "Jean found Future Trunks and Tsubaki's Wyatt. Let's go." The three held onto each other, as 22 pressed the button on the switch. After finally getting the entire area evacuated, Holden and Emery were told to leave the area but they refused. Jean sighed, knowing that they wouldn't leave and before he could say anything. Yamcha, Tien and 22 appeared in front of them. "Shit. We got here too late. Look." 22 spoke, pointing to where Jean was standing. "Damnit. If we don't stop him, he'll kill him." Yamcha stated, "Hey!!!" Tien called, this got Present Jean's attention. He was holding Wyatt up in the air by the collar, he shifted his eyes from Wyatt to 22, Yamcha and Tien. "What do you want?" He snapped gruffly, as his eyes met 22's.

"Let him go. You don't want to kill him. Look, I know. I know you're angry with him for the death of Emery. She was your little sister! Hell, Even I want to get back at him. Emery was the love of my life! You don't think I want to make him pay for everything he did?! I do. But this is not the way to go!" 22 stated, making Jean growl. "If she was the love of your life then you shouldn't try to stop me! You should be trying to help me." Jean threw Wyatt down on the floor, turning his full attention on 22. "Once you kill him, you won't be able to go back and you know that. Don't do it." 22 stated, keeping his guard up. "You have no right to tell me anything!" Jean threw a large ki blast at 22, making all three of them jump out of the way. "He's not going to listen, 22." Tien stated, landing next to 22's counterpart and Emery.

"I have to try." 22 shook his head, "Why? Why are you risking your life for this guy that's been trying to kill you and Saya?" Yamcha questioned, looking to 22. "To be honest with you... I have no clue." The three again jumped out of the way as another attack crashed into the ground and without realizing what Jean was doing, the three of them stayed in the air. Jean suddenly appeared behind Yamcha, who was in the middle of 22 and Tien. "Yamcha!!" Tien called out, but it was too late as Jean had already slammed his foot into Yamcha's back. This sent Yamcha flying directly into the ground below, creating a crater underneath. Tien immediately rushed at Jean with 22 following, the two strategizing to keep him at bay. Emery, Jean's counterpart and Holden all watched to fight in awe while Yamcha managed to stand to his feet. Wyatt who had seen all of this panicked, knowing that Jean was going to kill him. "I can't let him kill me!" Yamcha heard Wyatt's exclamation, causing him to look over the crater wall. His eyes widened when he saw Wyatt pull out the same wristwatch that both Jean and 22 were wearing on their wrists, he stood to his feet and quickly got out of the crater. "Hey!!! What do you think you're doing?!!" Yamcha shouted, making Wyatt panic. Wyatt quickly set his destination, and began to glow. "HEY!!" Yamcha's shout caught Jean, Tien and 22's attention.
