Chapter 55: The Reunion

3rd person's pov

Hunter swiftly moved on his feet, carrying an unconscious Tsubaki in his arms. He had run off while Keitaro and Keiko were recovering from an attack he threw, which took a lot out of him but he was determined to find Trunks and the others. He knew that the attack he threw would only stop them for a little bit and he was right, because both twins were coming after him. "Come on, where could they be? This is not going well and at this rate, I'll be done for before Tsubaki even wakes up." Hunter thought to himself as he looked down at Tsubaki, "I have to get her to the others." Hunter turned a corner, when the cave shook again. Hunter's cat, Coco, who was sitting on his shoulder started to move around not liking the increasing tension. "Hunter! Get back here!!" Keitaro's voice echoed in the cave, Hunter quickly rushed away not wanting to get caught by the twins. As Hunter ran down the long hallway, he heard loud noises coming from one side of the cave. So he decided to follow it, as he got closer he heard small explosions going off. Hunter heard Gohan and Trunks, which made him perk up. Just as he neared the area where Gohan and the others were, a large blast suddenly headed for Hunter. He quickly turned around but was caught in the blast, causing him to fly forward. Hunter turned himself around, letting his back hit the wall as he flew through it.

Goku, Vegeta and the others stopped fighting and looked over, seeing a figure fly through the wall. The two slid across the floor, while Tsubaki was still in Hunter's arms. Coco, Hunter's cat landed on her feet in front of Hunter and Tsubaki. Coco hissed at Keitaro and Keiko's figure, before flames engulfed the small cat. Suddenly Coco grew bigger, becoming as large as a full grown demon cat. "Whoa, what the hell kind of cat is that?!" Rin asked, snapping everyone out of their daze. Hunter sat up, holding Tsubaki close as he looked at Keitaro and Keiko. "Look at that Keitaro, his cat wasn't a normal cat. Looks like it's a demon cat. Now, that's unusual. Even for Hunter." Keitaro crossed his arms while Keiko smirked, Hunter laid Tsubaki down and stood in front of her. "Trunks, do you have any sensu beans on you?" Goku asked Trunks, who quickly dug in around in his pocket before pulling out the small brown bag filled with Sensu beans.

Trunks dug one out of the bag, heading over to Tsubaki but before he could get to her an energy blast was thrown at him. Trunks jumped back, turning his attention to where the blast came from. "There's no way, we're letting you near her." Rin shook her head, making Trunks glare at her. Vegeta grew tired of waiting around and threw his own attack at Riko and Rin, the two red heads quickly jumped away from the blast. Trunks tried to get to Tsubaki again, but was blocked by Keiko who threw an energy blast at him.

"I'm not letting you near that girl. I will not let you wake her up." Keiko muttered as she moved to get to Trunks, but was blocked by Coco. "Get away from me, you stupid cat!" Keiko swiftly kicked at Coco, who dodged her kick and headbutted her into the nearby wall. "Hunter, you are going to tell me where that gem is." Keitaro threw a punch at Hunter, who quickly dodged the punch. "I will not tell you that. So don't think you can try to beat it out of me either." Hunter blocked a kick from Keitaro, who became much more agitated with him than before.

"You little shithead!" Keitaro kicked at Hunter, hitting him in his side. Hunter flew backwards, hitting the nearby wall where Videl had been standing. "Hunter!!! Are you alright?" Videl rushed over to Hunter, who trying to recover from the blow he received. Videl helped Hunter stand to his feet, keeping an eye on Keitaro. "I'm not telling you anything  Keitaro... You'll never get that gem... You hear me?" Hunter's words only angered Keitaro more, causing him to throw a large ki towards the two. Videl and Hunter had no time to dodge it, Goku quickly diverted the blast. "Videl!!! Hunter!!" Gohan shouted, dodging a punch from Riko. "Pay attention to your opponent!!" Riko punched at Gohan's feet, making him jump away quickly. Gohan threw a kick at Riko, flipping over and landing on his feet. "Volt Lance!!!!" Lightning formed in Riko's hands, he threw the attack at Gohan who quickly dodged it. The lightning hit the wall behind Gohan, making the cave shake a bit. "If this cave keeps shaking like this, it could come down!!" Hunter said under his breath, so only Videl heard him.

Rin dodged Vegeta and Goku's punch, kicking at Goku. He ducked, landing a punch to Rin's stomach causing her to fly backwards. Keitaro grew angry and annoyed with Hunter, so he threw a large energy blast at them. Everyone else had been too busy to go after the blast, leaving both Hunter and Videl defenseless. 

"Videl!! Hunter!!" Gohan shouted.

Before anyone could do anything and the before the blast could hit Videl and Hunter, something stopped it in its tracks and caused it to explode. Hunter and Videl opened their eyes, which widened when they saw who was standing in front of them. 

"Who told you, you could threaten Hunter and Videl?" The smoke cleared, which made everyone turn their attention towards Hunter and Videl.

"How the hell are you awake?" Keiko growled, annoyed at Tsubaki. "Tsu..." Trunks muttered, looking over in amazement as he stared at her. Tsubaki was in super saiyan form, glaring hard at the twins.

"That doesn't matter. What matters right now... Is that you pay for everything you put us through." Tsubaki suddenly disappeared, reappearing behind Keitaro. She kicked Keitaro in the back, which sent him flying forward. "I don't appreciate you taking out your frustrations," Tsubaki appeared in front of him, kicking Keitaro in the stomach, which sent him flying up into the air. "On my friends!" Tsubaki kicked Keitaro in the back, sending him into the ground. Everyone stood in awe, not really sure how to react.
