Chapter 85: Meeting Kid Mai And Kid Asher

Tsubaki's pov

Everyone was still surprised at the fact that Bulma had just revealed that she had a time machine that was already built, I had immediately recognized it as I had seen it before with Trunks, Gohan and this timeline's Bulma. Mom stood beside Dad, looking just as confused as the rest of them. It seemed that even Vegeta was a little surprised by the sudden appearance of it, "I'm still confused as to where you got the time machine from." Dad turned to Bulma, "This is the time machine that Gohan, Tsu, Trunks and I found around the time that Cell first appeared. This was the time machine he used to travel here from the alternate timeline he originally came from." Bulma explained, "That's crazy." Dad scratched the back of his head, "I know. After we found it, I kept in my possession. I asked Trunks and Tsu if I could keep it for research purposes." She finished explaining. I leaned on Trunks, who was currently standing behind me. His arms were wrapped around my waist as we looked at the broken, moss covered time machine. My tail was wrapped around Trunks' waist, it kind of had a mind of its own at this point. I was still surprised that it even grew back, after it was removed by Android 22, I didn't think it would come back. "So this Cell..?" Goten looked up at Trunks and I, Kid Trunks and Kid Tsubaki also looking up at us. "He was a bad guy. An android." I said, "Like 18?" Kid Trunks asked, "Yeah, in a way. He looked a lot different though. His one purpose was to literally absorb Androids 17 and 18 to become powerful so he could kill Goku." Trunks explained, "He used this time machine to get here, he was from a different timeline and the only way he ended up with it was because he killed his timeline's Trunks." I chimed in, "What happened to him?" Goten asked, "Well.. Cell held a tournament of power once he absorbed both androids and he challenged anyone to come fight him. Some idiots showed up and tried to fight him but they realized how strong he was and ran off. Dad was the one who fought him first but since he was still recovering from the Heart virus, he needed to stop before he strained his heart. So he sent Gohan in. And Gohan was a teen at the time."

"You mean Gohan fought Cell by himself?!!" Mom asked, she hadn't seen him in a while.

"Yeah, he did." I nodded, Mom looked at Dad with a glare and crossed her arms. "Goku, how could you let your teen son fight an android alien?!" Dad only let out a nervous chuckle, shielding himself from my mom. She only continued to glare at him, rather than turning to violence. Once Dad realized that she wasn't going to hit him, he returned to standing in a normal posture. "I had to, Chichi. He was the best person to fight Cell. And I had a lot of faith in him. Didn't you have the same faith in him when your Gohan fought against the androids in your time?" He asked, Mom was caught off guard by the question and so was I. I remembered how angry Mom had been when she learned Gohan was fighting the androids, they even had a whole argument about it. I was really young, practically a toddler at the time he started fighting the androids.

"I did.." She sighed, "Gohan was adament about letting him fight those androids. There was no way I could ever talk him out of it." Mom explained, she looked away from Dad and her eyes went to Trunks and I. "What happened with the fight between Gohan and Cell?" Kid Tsubaki asked. "Well.. Dad wanted Gohan to get angry. It was his best shot at beating Cell. It took a while for him to get really angry, but once he did.. It was amazing to watch him fight. He reminded me a lot of my timeline's Gohan when he was fighting Cell. Cell tried blowing the Earth but Dad got off the planet and of course, me being me, I saved Dad and several others from dying."

"Dying how?" Mom asked, "Yeah, how did you save Dad?" Goten asked, looking up at me.

"Hehehe..." Dad nervously chuckled, realizing what I was about to tell Mom. "Well... Dad decided to instant transmit himself and Cell off Earth, he was going to sacrifice himself for us and the Earth."

"Goku!" Mom shouted, Dad immediately flinched back. "Dad?!!" Goten and Kid Tsubaki shouted, both of them were not very happy with him at the moment.

"What? It was the only thing I could think of to save everyone." Dad defended himself.
