Christmas Special

Tsubaki's pov

I smiled, watching as Goten and the younger Tsubaki were playing the yard with younger Trunks. Trunks and I, along with our timeline's Chichi and Bulma were staying in the present with everyone. We were spending time with them since Trunks and I wouldn't be coming back to visit for a long time, which made me upset. When I realized that Trunks' and I being here in the present was causing problems for Dad and the others, I grew very upset with myself. I couldn't stand being the reason why everyone was targeting my family, and it was all because I loved being with the Z fighters and spending time with Dad and Gohan. I watched as they ran around completely carefree of anything in the world, I thought it was nice to see them playing around. I wiped a tear away, not realizing just how much I was going to miss this. I shook my head, wiping my tears and stared off at the sky. I then let out a small sigh, flying off discreetly so that the three of them wouldn't notice me leave. I decided instead of heading to the same place I usually would go to when I needed to think, I headed somewhere else. I flew overhead of West City, looking at the busy streets and headed farther towards a place that nobody would think to find me.

After leaving, the three younger kids noticed that Future Tsubaki had disappeared on them, which made them worry. "Where do you think she went?" Goten looked to the younger Trunks, "I think I have an idea of where she went.. But she might not want us to follow her, she looked like she was crying when she was watching us." The younger Tsubaki answered, looking at the sky.

"Kids, come eat lunch!!" Chichi called from the house, Future Chichi was right behind her. "Tsu, I made your favorite!" Future Chichi called, looking around the yard to find her daughter but had no luck. "That's odd. She was just out here watching the kids play." Chichi turned to Future Chichi, the two now worried about Future Tsubaki. Goten, Tsubaki and Trunks rushed over to the two adults. "Kids, have you seen Tsu?" Chichi asked, looking down at her son and daughter.

"She just took off, I don't know where though. She didn't seem to be in a good mood either." Tsubaki answered, "Tsubaki said she saw Tsu crying while she was watching us and then she took off." Trunks explained, looking up both Chichi's who turned to each other thinking the exact same thing. They all headed inside to eat just as Gohan, Future Trunks and Goku returned.

"Hey, Mom." Gohan greeted as three entered the house, "Trunks!!" Tsubaki took off towards Future Trunks, who swept her off her feet and smiled. "What's for lunch? I'm starving." Goku tried to take a nugget from Goten's plate but Chichi slapped his hand, making him drop the nugget and whine. "What's up, little Tsubaki?" Future Trunks asked, "Future me left the house, she was crying when she left." Future Trunks, Goku and Gohan looked at each other before turning their attention back to the young girl. "Do you know where she went?" Gohan asked his sister, who only shook her head.

Future Trunks let out a sigh as he realized just was bugging his girlfriend, "What is it, Trunks?" Chichi asked him, furrowing her eyebrows. "I know what's bothering Tsu.." He looked down at the floor, "She must be very upset about not coming back for a while.. She's taking it really hard.. She hates that people have been targeting you and the others because she and I travel here often. She blames herself." Trunks explained, letting out a small sigh.

"My baby girl... She's always had it hard.. After losing Gohan, she constantly blamed herself for things that those Androids did. For a long time, I wasn't sure how she really felt... Now that she's been able to meet you, Goku.. She's become much more light hearted, she was able to bond with you.. But now, she's clearly feeling distressed, angry and hurt that she's been causing trouble for you all by just traveling here. It breaks my heart to see her like that.. But I want to thank you both.. You both took such good care of her when she was here with you, helping you fight the bad guys. Goku, I especially appreciate all that you did for her while she's been with you. When the two first came home after meeting with you, her eyes lit up and she could barely contain her happiness. Thank you both, so much taking care of my baby girl.. She's all I got left." Future Chichi smiled at Goku and Chichi, who didn't expect her kind words but then smiled at her.
