Chapter 42: Stop Wyatt at all cost!

3rd person's pov

Tsubaki pulled on her chains, trying to find a way to get to the ground so she didn't fall in the acid, most of her energy had been drained because of the many shocks she received from Wyatt's device. Goten, Kid Trunks and Kid Tsubaki were still throwing the remote around which was starting to irritate Kiyomi so she threw an attack at them. Tsubaki could tell that everyone else was getting tired, even Goku and Vegeta were having trouble fighting against 22. "Damn, they won't give up. It's like he gives them the word and they fight till they drop." Piccolo wiped blood off of the corner of his mouth, looking to Sora. The group had been pushed back, now standing in front of Tsubaki.

"We might need to come up with a-" They heard yelling, "Trunks!! Goten!!!" Tsu shouted, as Goten ran around with his clothes on fire. Kid Trunks kept trying to put him out, which made the adults sigh. "Tsu!!" Goten shouted, making the adults look over to them. "Let her of go!!" Trunks kicked at 22, but he threw him back towards the adults and Vegeta caught him. "It looks like were gonna have take them on together." Tsubaki was beginning to feel tired and Goku could feel it. "We need to get Tsubaki away from the acid and out of those chains. It's something in that acid she's hanging over." Goku explained, but the others were a bit confused.

"What do you mean?" Asher saw Tsubaki's head hanging, as she was barely holding on to being awake. "I think I get it. Whatever is in that acid she's hanging over, it might be draining more of her ki." Gohan pulled Kid Tsubaki back behind him, as Sora looked to Kiyomi. The two were scheming to get to Tsu and take her out, so Tsubaki would be powerless.

"Kaaaameeeehaaameeehaaaa!" Goten attacked Kiyomi and she tried to block it but once Kid Tsubaki joined, she flew out of the room. Sora growled, charging after the two but Piccolo stopped her. "Not this time, redhead." Future Trunks, Gohan and Mai were now heading towards Tsubaki.

"Tsubaki just hold on a little longer. We're gonna figure out a way to get you down." Gohan called to his younger sister, but he couldn't hear her call out softly for Trunks. Goku managed to take down Hibiki only leaving Sora, 22 and Wyatt. Vegeta and the others were now dealing with Kiyomi and her army of soldiers, who suddenly appeared. "Damn. Where are these guards coming from?!" Asher kicked the crap out of a dozen of them, which only left a few soldiers left. 

"Ahhhhhh!!" Kiyomi was kicked into Sora and the two flew into the wall, finally being knocked out. "Well, that's two down. That just leaves us with 22, Hibiki and Wyatt." Yamcha looked over to Tien, the remote to the chains that held Tsubaki were still on the ground at the far end of the room. Goten stepped on the remote which broke it in half and blew up, making Wyatt yell as he realized that it was the only thing keeping Tsubaki at bay. The chain let go of Tsubaki's hand, causing her to slip and the others to panic. "Tsubaki!!! Gohan grab her!!" Gohan quickly inched down the chain, but Tsubaki couldn't hold on much longer. Gohan could tell his sister didn't have much longer, "Gohan...." Tsubaki cried out, knowing he was gonna have to take the risk.

Wyatt saw that Gohan nearly had Tsubaki in his arms, "You can't take her." Goku looked over to Wyatt seeing that he had gotten free from Yamcha, but he was also heading to a console. "I'm not letting you get to her." Goku blasted the console which blew up, making Wyatt fly backwards and hit the wall. Hibiki and 22 looked over, seeing Wyatt go through the wall and then looked to Gohan trying to get to Tsubaki. "Don't even think about it!" 18 kicked 22 in the stomach, making him stumble backwards into Hibiki. "Gohan hurry, she's slipping." Tsubaki could feel the effects of the acid, as she began to feel worse. Wyatt took out a gun from his back pocket and pointed it to Goku and Vegeta, not realizing how stupid he looked.

"Oh come on. Did you really think a bullet will stop us from getting to you?" Vegeta scoffed, but they didn't realize where he was actually aiming. "I'm not aiming for you." Wyatt shot the gun, as Piccolo caught onto who he was aiming for. The bullet hit Asher in the side, making Krillen and Tien call out for him and Asher fell forward and hit the ground. 18 stood in shock, not believing what had just happened. Tsubaki looked over through her fear, to see that Asher wasn't where he was before. "Asher!! Asher get up!!" Mai got pissed at Wyatt, as she stared in shock while Tsubaki called out to him softly.

"Asher... Please. Get up. Please." Asher didn't move, which caused everyone else to go quiet as Wyatt smirked. "I told you Tsubaki... I told you that you were gonna pay for the deed's of your father's past." She teared up heavily and stared at Asher, who still wasn't moving. "No, no... No..." She shook her head, not believing that he might be gone. "You just made a big mistake." Trunks shook his head, as he held back tears. "Oh, I think this is better than dealing with your father. Be happy that I didn't kill him instead." Tsubaki became angry and Gohan felt it, "You bastard.. You killed Asher to get back at me. You petty bastard." Tsubaki raised her eyes at Wyatt, who suddenly paled seeing her glare. "One glare won't kill me." He waved it off and which only made her angrier. Tsubaki raised her ki despite having a low level and raised her free hand, "You're not getting away with taking him away from me. He was my best friend, you bastard!!" Tsubaki shot a ki blast at him but before Wyatt could get hit, Kiyomi jumped out in front of him, taking the hit and crashed into the nearby panels. "No!!" Sora shouted and Tsubaki's eyes widened in utter shock.
