It had been three days since the golden trio had left, leaving Alex behind, devastated. Alex had felt betrayed as she had been helping them for months to try and think of ways to destroy you know who, where the Horcruxes were, and even helping in their battles against him and the death eaters. She felt upset they didn't bring her at all, but she didn't even know they were leaving or their plan on leaving her behind, and that hurt.
Nathan and Alex had been staying at Fred and George's flat with them, hanging out with them, just relaxing as they didn't feel up to anything too crazy. Today, the four of them were heading over to the burrow as Molly requested to see them. They made their way over using the floor network and Molly immediately greeted them in hugs.
"How's it going, Mum?" George asked as they all took a seat at the kitchen table.
"I wanted to check in with you lot... see how you guys are feeling. Obviously, those three leaving has affected you all, and I had found a letter Hermione left here for you Alex." Molly said, passing Alex a piece of parchment.
Alex was eager to open it, tuning out of George's conversation with Molly as she read.
"Alex,
If you're reading this, it means that what I thought could happen, did. I was afraid they would attack during the wedding and if you are there reading this, it means that Ron, Harry and I had to flee. I know that you are upset with us, for leaving you, but Ron and Harry thought it would be best this way.
None of us wanted to put you in danger, and we thought if you stayed home, you wouldn't be a target and not harmed. I hope to Godric its true. I can assume you feel betrayed by us, for not telling you we were going to leave and we wanted to tell you. We were trying to figure out how to tell you without hurting you but we didn't have time too.
Please stay safe, as I love you so much and would be so upset with myself if anything ever happened to you. You are so smart, and I trust you to take care of yourself over this time, and I wish you were here, could use your brains.
I feel like this is rambling now but I am really sorry.
I love you,
Hermione"
Alex sighed before passing the letter to Nathan to read.
"So Dearie, I wanted to ask you before but, are you and Ron official now?" Molly asked her as the twins sighed at the mention of him.
"Mum!" Fred yelled out.
"No Freddie, it's okay. No Molly we are not, he said we should wait till after we destroy you-know-who, now I understand why." Alex sighed.
"Oh I'm sorry I brought it up Alex, it'll all be okay, I'm sure of it!" Molly quickly said, pouring tea for everyone.

It had been a few weeks of Nathan and Alex staying with the twins, and the Twins had suggested they stay for the summer. The Twins were working on their joke shop everyday while Nathan and Alex just hung out. Alex didn't like going out much, because of the looks she got of the ties she had to the trio as well as the bounty that was set out for them. She didn't like walking down the street having a bounty on them, seeing people who followed Voldemort wanting to see her friends and whatever Ron was to her, dead.
Nathan was concerned for Alex as she didnt like to talk often about her feelings, but he knew she felt really hurt over what had happened. He just hoped the three of them fixed this as soon as possible, destroying Voldemort so they could come back and Alex could fix their issues. As the end of Summer came, and they knew they would have to go back to Hogwarts, they were feeling scared of what was to come.
