"So what now?" Harry asked her.
"What do you mean?" She wondered as he wiped the remaining tears off her face.
"Well you've cried it out, Ron hurt Cole, now what?" He asked.
"Well Cole and I are obviously broken up. Now I just study for the end of the year exams." Alex sighed.
"What about Ron?"
"What about Ron?" She asked him, giving him a look.
"What's going to happen between you two?"
"Nothing, just because Cole and I are broken up, it does not mean that Ron and I will get back together." She said as Harry nodded.
"For now." Harry said softly with a smirk on his face as Alex shot daggers at him.
"What? You guys are soulmates." He told her.
"Yeah? And what about you and Ginny?" She smirked.
"Moving on..." Harry trailed off.
After a while of Alex and Harry sitting in the staircase talking softly, Harry spoke up.
"Do you want to head back to the common room now?" Harry asked her as she nodded, standing up.
"Oh god, now to face Ron." Alex groaned out as Harry chuckled, throwing an arm around her as they walked up to the common room. They saw Nathan, Hermione and Ron all sat around and all jumped up when they entered.
"Oh my gosh Alex! Are you okay?" Hermione asked, quickly making her way over to the girl, bringing her in for a hug.
"I mean, it sucks, a lot, but I have to study for exams." Alex told her.
"God, you sound like Hermione." Ron joked, causing Hermione turned around to swat him.
"Yeah yeah, one big nerd now, I know. I have to thank you Ron, you got him really good." Alex said, slightly smiling to him as he nodded, giving her a smirk.
"Right in the face! It was awesome! I think his nose broke!" Nathan cheered as everyone laughed, sitting around the room.
"This year has been crazy, eh?" Harry asked as everyone nodded.
"I know, at least we didn't have to defeat any dark lords." Ron joked.
"Well at least we always have each other, the five musketeers." Hermione joked.
"Yeah yeah you sap, I'm lucky to have you all." Alex agreed.

Saturday had gone by in a blur and it was currently late Sunday afternoon. Alex had avoided Cole all day yesterday and she was once again, studying when there was a knock on the door.
"Come in!" She called and Ron walked in and sat across from her on her bed.
"Alex... you need to stop studying." He smirked at her.
"And why is that?" She asked.
"Because you have turned so boring, and I miss you."
"You miss me huh?" She smirked at him.
"Of course, as friends obviously." he said laughing as even Alex let out a chuckle.
"Okay we can do something, but we can't tell Harry." She said as he nodded.
"Odd request but okay. Wait... has he been talking about soulmates and young love to you too?" He asked, going red in the face.
"Yup, I got the talk about how you and I are soulmates and we are meant for each other, ya know, how we were each other's first loves all that, he's quite passionate about it." She joked as he nodded his head.
