~Chapter Twelve~

A week had quickly gone by and Ron had ignored Alex and was instead cuddling up with Lavender. Alex was definitely pissed off with how he was acting but she didn't want to let it bother her too much. Instead, she would ignore him right back. It's what he deserved. 

Alex had been spending her time with Draco instead. The friendship between Alex and Draco was something she enjoyed and had fun with. She had an inkling that Draco may have feelings for her, and it made her happy to know that someone cared for her as Draco did. She wasn't sure how she felt about Draco but she nonetheless enjoyed being around him.

Alex walked into the Gryffindor common room to see Ron, Harry, and Hermione all sitting together.  As soon as Alex walked in, Ron stood up and walked away, going up to his room. Alex let out a sigh before sitting beside Hermione.

"Did he ever tell you guys what I did to make him hate me? He won't even talk to me!" Alex angrily spoke as both Hermione and Harry shook their heads no.

"No, he won't talk to us about it. Every time we bring it up, he gets mad and leaves the room." Harry told her before placing a comforting hand on her leg with a light squeeze.

"I don't want to sit here and sulk about it but it really sucks. I don't even know what I did to him." Alex sighed, laying back on the couch.

"Alex it's okay. Please try not to worry about it. He has just been a dick recently." Harry soothed. 

"Well, at least I still have the two of you." Alex sighed, offering them each a small smile. 

After chatting for a bit longer, the girls decided to go up to their room as Hermione had a few muggle books she wanted to show Alex. Harry made his way up to the room he shared with Ron to see him eating chocolates, again, probably from his 'Lav-Lav'.

"Ron, why are you being so rude to Alex?" Harry asked, taking a seat on his bed to face the redhead.

"I have no idea what you are talking about mate. Look what Lavender gave me, sweet isn't she?" Ron happily sighed, looking away dreamily.

"What are you going on about? Are you feeling okay?" Harry asked, fed up with the love-sick version of Ron that he had been rooming with the last week.

"What are you talking about Harry? Nothing is wrong with me." Ron sighed again, eating some more chocolates. 

"Who gave you those chocolates?" Harry asked, an idea forming in his head.

"Well, Lavender of course. She gives me chocolates every day. I love sweets and she knows it. She just gets me. " Ron told him, looking dreamingly away and out the window.

"Alright Ron, come with me, yeah? Let's go see Slughorn okay? Then we can go see 'Lav-Lav'." Harry spoke to Ron.

"Alright Harry, let's go!" Ron cheerily said, following Harry into the common room.

The boys made their way into the common room just as Hermione and Alex were making their way down from their dorm. 

Alex saw Ron and quickly walked up to Ron, blocking his way.

"Ron, we need to talk!" She angrily said to him, crossing her arms.

"No Alexandra. I do not want to talk to you!" Ron shrugged her off as he raised his voice at her.

"Why not? What did I even do to you... you told me you loved me!" Alex angrily said to him, letting her emotions freely come out as a few angry tears slipped from her eyes. 

"Well I don't love you and I wish I didn't say those things to you. I wish, well, I wish I never even met you!" Ron yelled at her, causing Alex to freely let the tears run down her face.
