Alex was finally getting into the swing of classes and it was now the first friday of the semester. Alex had been spending every waking moment with Ron, she felt safe being with him and he helped deter the nightmares she got every night. Alex did not think anything of it because she loved spending time with Ron but little did she know Ron was growing annoyed. He loved the girl, alot, but he sometimes found her overbearing.
Alex and Draco were on their way to Potion brewing with Cole trailing behind them.
"Oi! You guys walk fast!" Cole called walking faster to catch up.
"Maybe you're just slow." Alex teased as Draco let out a laugh.
"Maybe you're just running away from me." Cole teased back as Alex nodded her head.
"Why would she ever do that?" Draco sarcastically asked as they walked in the class, taking his seat beside Blaise as Blaise greeted the three.
Alex quickly took her seat beside Cole as he brought out his textbook.
"My potions teacher at my old school was so hot, why couldn't we have a super hot professor?" Cole thought out loud as Alex let out a chuckle.
"Yeah well my old potions professor was crazy, he hated anyone that wasn't in his house and was just overall a dick." Alex told him as Blaise and Draco turned around.
"He just didn't like Gryffindors." Draco teased.
"Yeah you get to say that because you were in Slytherin, he had to like you." Alex mumbled as Blaise nodded.
"Well he sounds delightful!" Cole said laughing just as their professor came in.
"Morning class! Open your textbook to page 47, pick one of the potions and recreate it, you have until the end of class!"
Cole put his textbook in front of Alex as they looked over it.
"What do you want to brew?" She asked him.
"Let's go with the classic, Amortentia." He said as she slowly nodded her head as he got up to grab the supplies as she got her cauldron ready.
The two spent the entire class making their potion perfectly, and the Professor gave them an 100%. The two goofed off and when he wasn't actively flirting with her, he was alright.
"So what do you smell Lex?" Cole asked her.
"Quidditch broomstick, freshly mown grass, new parchment, spearmint toothpaste and Ron's hair." She told him as he did a quick eye roll. "You?"
"Perfume, flowers, honey, even a smudge of tequila." He said, sniffing the cauldron.
"Ah we knew you liked her but the tequila just set it over the top." Blaise said in front of them causing Cole to awkwardly scratch the back of his neck and go red in the face.
"I mean, pretty obvious." Draco said rolling his eyes at the two.
"Well I don't think I smell like tequila but way to make it awkward, hm?" Alex grimaced.
"Class dismissed! Clean your cauldrons!" The Professor called as Ron waited for her by the door. She quickly saw him and shot him a smile.
"Go, i'll clean up." Cole said, giving her a slight smile and head nodded.
"Thanks Cole!" She cheerily said before running over to Ron, engulfing him in a hug and kiss as Cole watched, sighing.
"Yeah, get used to that. They are obsessed with each other." Blaise said, clapping Cole on the back as he left.
"Babe! Are you walking with me to class?" Alex happily said, linking her amr in his and leaning against him.
"Uh yeah actually I was coming to tell you I have our first quidditch tonight so I wont be back until late so maybe tonight you can sleep in your own dorm." He said as she gave him a look.
