Alex woke up the next morning, confused with her surroundings. She sat up quickly to see Ginny laying in the other empty bed in the room, with Neville and Nathan both occupying mattresses on the ground.

Alex quickly stood up, walking over to shake Ginny awake.

"Ginny, why are we here?" She asked her as Ginny sat up, half awake.

"You basically passed out last night after the Carrows tortured you, Nathan thought it would be safer if we all camped together, for everyone's sake." Ginny explained as Alex nodded at her. The girls sat on Ginny's bed, quietly discussing what happened last night, when the boys both quietly woke up, standing up to stretch before meeting the girls.

"What are we chatting about this morning ladies?" Nathan smirked, plopping onto the bed between them.

"What happened last night, I am almost sure will continue to happen. They will take it out on us until they find the three." Ginny sighed as Alex nodded her head, agreeing.

"Maybe you shouldn't stay here Alex. They will only get worse." Neville sighed at the girl.

"I don't think I should be here either, but Snape forces everyone to be here." Alex sighed, leaning onto Nathan's side as he wrapped a protective arm around her.

"We will be okay, we will all look after each other right?" Nathan smiled lightly, trying to better the mood.

"Alex I am sorry they took you both, we will protect you both! I will protect you, I promised Ron." Neville told them all as Alex quirked her brows.

"YOU SPOKE TO RON? WHEN? WHAT DID HE SAY?" Alex quickly demanded, raising her voice as Neville went red in the face, taking a step back from her.

"He wrote to me, the day after the wedding. Said he had to leave you and not to tell you but to swear to protect you at Hogwarts. I couldn't write back to him though, as ya know, on the run and such-" Neville spoke before Nathan quickly cut him off, "Yeah Neville, we know that part."

"I can't believe he wrote to you but couldn't write to me." Alex sighed as Ginny agreed, "Or me! His bloody sister."

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I didn't want you to be upset" Neville sighed at the girls.

"No no Neville, it's okay." Alex sighed before giving the boy a light smile.

"Let's get dressed and head down to breakfast then yeah?" Ginny suggested as they all agreed and took turns getting dressed in their robes in the washroom before heading down to the great hall, taking their seats at the Gryffindor table.

The group all spoke with one another, serving themselves breakfast before McGonagall made her way over to them, quickly handing them their time tables before scurrying away.

"Alex we have all our morning classes together!" Nathan cheered, bringing the girl siting next to him in for a side hug as she smiled too.

"Awe Ginny, I'm sad you're not our year." Alex pouted at the girl sitting in front of her.

"Me too." She sighed. "I'll be okay, I have a few friends my year too." she said, causing them all to giggle.

"It sucks I don't have any afternoon classes with either of you." Alex sighed at the two boys as they all compared schedules.

"Yeah sorry Alex, looks like it's just me and Neville in the afternoon. Just the boys." Nathan said laughing as Neville nodded his head in agreement.

"Well we should probably head to class now yeah? See you both later." Alex told Neville and Ginny before the two made their way to what is now called 'Dark arts' taught by the Carrow siblings. They quickly took seats in the back, farthest away from Snape quietly discussing with one another before Snape quickly walked in causing everyone to go silent.
