Chapter Twenty Eight

It had been a few days since Alex found out Ron kissed Hermione and she had iced him out even more. Except today, Alex, Ron and Nathan were leaving as Ron thought he knew where Harry and Hermione were. Alex had enchanted a bag so it was small but so she would be able to carry more things as well as Nathan and Ron each had backpacks on and were waiting in the living room for her.

Alex walked out as she saw her brother, the twins, Bill and Fleur all gathered around. Fleur approached them first.

"Be 'areful! All of 'ou!" She quickly said, bringing them all in for hugs before Bill made his way over, giving Alex and Nathan both short hugs before turning to his brother. Oliver soon made his way over to Alex as well before bringing her in for a close hug.

"Alex be careful okay? Please." He pleaded and Alex nodded, muttering an 'of course' as he then said goodbye to Nathan and Ron as well. Alex then turned to the twins with big grins on their faces before they both brought her in for a big hug.

"Were going to miss ya! Be careful will you? We want you home in one piece!" George joked before she nodded, giving him another quick hug before turning to Fred where he brought her closer.

"Be careful, will ya love?" He muttered in her ear as she nodded before they were all ready to go and the three of them walked outside.

"Ready to go are we?" Ron asked Alex as Nathan made his way out holding Alex's wand.

"Dumbass you almost forgot this." He laughed, slipping it in his pocket with his as the three of them joined hands and all disapperated to Ron's desired location.

When they landed they turned to see Harry climbing out of a frozen lake, shivering.

"Ron? Alex? Nathan?" He asked confusingly while putting his clothes back on.

"Are you mental?" Ron asked him picking up the Gryffindor sword Harry had dropped.

"Is it you guys for real?" Harry asked again.

"Well yeah, a bit obvious I'd think." Ron muttered out.

"Well then, nice to see you Alex and Nathan, hope all is well." Harry nodded at them.

"Nice to see you? Are you bloody insane Harry Potter? Nathan, where's my wand? Give me my wand!" Alex said, charging at Nathan as he took steps back before Ron gently wrapped his arm around Alex, bringing her into his chest so she couldn't get either dark haired boy.

"Why does he have your wand?" Harry questioned her.

"Nevermind why he has gotten my wand!"

"Look Alex, Im sor-" Harry started.

"I don't care, where's the locket? We figured out how to destroy it" She cut him off asking.

"You're bloody brilliant Alex! I was wondering why it presented itself to me!" Harry exclaimed, giving her a big smile. "Let's go then."

Soon the four of them gathered around the locket as Ron held the sword.

"Okay Ron, do it." Harry said.

"I can't handle it. That thing affects me more than it affects you or Hermione." Ron said.

"All the more reason." Harry replied.

"No I can't."

"Come on Ron, you can do it." Alex said, giving him a light smile as Harry spoke as well saying "Then why are you here? Why did you come back?"

Ron stood there for a moment before lightly nodding his head.

"Now, Ill have to speak to it in order for it to open. When it does, don't hesitate. I don't know what's in there but it'll put up a fight. The bit of riddle that was in that diary tried to kill me." Harry spoke as the locket started clicking.
