A few hours later and Alex was sat in the stands with Hermione, watching the anticipated quidditch game of Gryffindor versus Slytherin as they were the first game of the year. The score was already pretty close as both teams had excellent players and it would all come down to whoever caught the snitch.
Alex was watching intensely as Harry and Draco both seared forward, obviously spotting the tiny golden snitch. She grabbed Hermione's arm in anticipation as both girls got nervous about the outcome of the game. She knew how important it was to her brother.
Suddenly, she heard Lee Jordan's voice come through the speakers.
"HARRY POTTER HAS CAUGHT THE GOLDEN SNITCH! GRYFFINDOR HAS WON!" He announced as the Gryffindor stands went wild in excitement.
Alex stood up, grabbing Hermione's arm to pull her down the field to congratulate their friends and her brother. Alex saw her brother first and quickly gave him a hug as he hugged her back, giving her a kiss to her forehead before making her way over to a 7th year Ravenclaw girl as they hugged as well. Alex made a mental note to ask her brother about it later.
Alex then quickly turned to give George a hug and went to hug Fred when he lightly picked her off the ground, spinning her around as she let out a giggle. He set her back down on the ground as she went to hug Ron as well as Harry.
"You guys did so well!" Alex quickly told them, causing them to turn a slight shade of red at her words.
"I think we need to talk about what happened today at breakfa-" Harry started before she swiftly cut him off.
"I agree and we will. Just not right now. Let's enjoy your win boys!" She smiled at them before she and Hermione made their way back up to the castle. They knew there was soon going to be a party in the Gryffindor common room to celebrate their win and they needed to get ready before as Hermione also wanted to get some information from her best friend.
Once the girls were sat in their room, Hermione turned to Alex, giving her a look.
"What Hermione?" Alex asked, seeing the look Hermione was giving her.
"What do you think about the deal the guys made?" Hermione asked her.
"I think it's bloody ridiculous. I am my own person and I didn't appreciate what they did. It is kind of flattering though, I must admit." Alex giggled, causing Hermione to playfully roll her eyes.
"Who do you like then?" Hermione asked her.
"I'm not sure. I want to say I kind of like all of them? But that makes me sound bad, doesn't it? It makes me sound like a whore, doesn't it?" Alex questioned herself.
"You are not a whore Alex. You just have developed feelings for multiple people and that's okay. It can take time for you to figure your feelings out." Hermione soothed her friend as Alex gave her a small smile.
"You know, I always thought Ron liked you." Alex admitted to Hermione.
"Honestly, so did I. I am so happy with Victor and he has feelings for you so there couldn't be anything there. Also, have you seen the way he eats? It's barbaric." Hermione said, causing Alex to let out a small laugh.
The two girls continued to get ready as they started to hear music loudly play from the common room. Hermione checked herself out in the mirror once last time and smiled at her outfit. She wore a nice pair of jeans and a low-cut red top. It wasn't usually her style but she felt good and confident in it. Alex came up beside her, admiring herself in the mirror as well as she wore a little black dress.
The two witches magiced their hair and makeup done as Alex grabbed from her alcohol stash from under her bed. A very large bottle of fire whiskey.
"Come on Hermione, let's get messed up!" Alex laughed, popping the cap off and taking a few chugs before passing the bottle to Hermione as she laughed but still accepted the drink. The duo made their way to the party and split up. Hermione went to talk to Harry and Alex made her way over to Fred.
"I thought you would be happy with my drink choice." Alex smirked at him, causing him to let out a laugh and nod.
"Yeah, I do. I would offer you a drink but you seem good to go." He teased her as she took another big sip.
The two continued talking a bit more when George made his way over to them.
"Alex, come dance with me?" He asked, offering his hand to her which she drunkenly took before he whisked her away from Fred. He sighed as he watched her dance with his twin, knowing George did it on purpose. Cock block.
A few hours had gone by and almost every Gryffindor was drunk. Fred called over his friend group including Oliver, Alex, George, Ron, Hermione, Harry, and Angelina over to where he sat. Lavender Brown followed them over, joining their group which Alex thought was odd.
"Let's play truth or dare!" Fred told the group as they all sat in a circle on the ground.
"Okay... I'll start." George spoke, spinning it until it landed on Oliver.
"Truth or dare Oliver?" Alex asked, smirking at her older brother.
"Truth." Oliver told the group.
"Oh, George! I have a good truth, let me ask!" Alex begged to which George nodded.
"So Oliver, who was the Ravenclaw girl you greeted after the game?" Alex asked, causing Oliver's face to go red.
"Uh, her name is Rachel Rose. She is a 7th year Ravenclaw. I guess we are kind of seeing each other." Oliver awkwardly said as all the guys whooped and hollered in support of him.
Oliver spun the bottle, letting it land on Fred.
"So Fred, truth or dare?" Oliver asked, giving him a smirk.
"Dare."
"I dare you to kiss Hermione." Oliver spoke, giving a smirk to Fred's now red face.
"Uh no. No offense Fred but I have a boyfriend. You should kiss Alex instead." Hermione spoke, giving a slight giggle at the end.
"What do you think Alex?" Fred asked her, offering her a large smirk.
Alex being drunk and stupid nodded her head and quickly stood up. Fred made his way over to her and lightly grabbed her face, bringing her in for a sloppy drunk kiss. The two kissed for a few more moments before Fred brought her closer to him by her hips, causing Oliver to clear his throat.
"Yeah, this isn't what I was expecting when I agreed to play this game." Oliver groaned, not wanting to see his sister making out with Fred or anyone for that matter.
"Okay, anyway, I'll go now." Lavender said, spinning the bottle until it landed on Ron. Everyone knew Lavender liked Ron but their friend group knew Ron didn't feel the same.
"Okay Ron, I dare you to kiss the girl you find most attractive in this circle." Lavender smirked, expecting and hoping Ron would kiss her. Ron awkwardly stood up and grabbed Alex's hand.
"Ready for another kiss?" He drunkenly smirked at her before she giggled, letting him bring her closer to kiss her, soon slipping his tongue in her mouth as their tongues battled for dominance. George whooped and hollered in support of his litter brother, practically holding Oliver in his place so he couldn't leave.
Alex withdrew from the kiss feeling awkward before sitting back down.
"Well then. That was something." Alex quietly said, letting a blush roam her face.
The game went on for a few more rounds before they got bored.
"Hermione, come with me!" Alex drunkenly giggled, standing up and pulling Hermione up with her. She led her over to the table where they had tons of muggle alcohol before pouring each of them a few tequila shots. Alex and Hermione soon felt the alcohol kick into their systems as they started dancing around with each other.
The rest of the night was a blur and the next morning Alex woke up laying in Ron's shirt in Harry's bed and the girl could only think, what the hell happened last night? Her head throbbed in pain and she sat up in the bed to see she was alone in the room.
