Chapter Forty One

A few days into January and everyone had arrived back at school and it was currently a Sunday, with classes starting back up again on Monday. It was late so Hermione, Alex and Luna just sat in their room, catching up about their holidays.

"Yeah and Cole and I had a really good talk on January 1st, he talked to me about how before I was abusing alcohol and coke, which I admit i was, and made me realize how dumb that was. I promised no more random drinking and instead just saved it all for parties." Alex nodded.

"Well that's good, I'm glad he could get through." Luna smiled at her.

"I am as well." Alex nodded.

"I can't believe he asked you to be his girlfriend on January 1st, that's so cute!" Hermione giggled.

"I know, I wasn't expecting it but glad it happened." Alex laughed.

"I still can't get over that Ron invited Julianna! The nerve! None of us even like her." Hermione groaned as Alex and Luna both nodded.

"That was bold." Luna said, nodding.

"Hermione, did you ever find out why Ron and her were fighting new years eve and day?" Alex asked as Hermione shook her head no.

"You know who would know, Nathan." Luna spoke as the girls agreed.

"I'll go get him." Alex spoke before quickly exiting the room, heading to Nathan's room before offering a small knock.

Ron quickly opened the door, offering her a confused look.

"Alex?" He asked.

"Hey, is Nathan here?" She asked as Ron nodded, walking back into the room and soon Nathan appeared.

"Alex? Whats up?" He asked.

"Nathan, your time has come, we are finally inviting you to come to girl talk." She said giggling.

"Finally! Lets go!" He giggled, grabbing Alex's hand practically running back to her room, busting in the door with a giggling Alex behind him. He quickly flopped onto Alex's bed and Alex joined him.

"So, what are we discussing?" Nathan asked the girls.

"We figured you knew why Julianna and Ron were fighting around New Years." Hermione spoke as he nodded.

"Of Course I do. They fought because she was insecure being around Alex, figures Ron still likes Alex." Nathan explained.

"Well, does he?" Luna asked as Nathan shrugged.

"I dunno, but it's obvious that Alex has moved on so he wouldn't say he did even if he really did." Nathan said with a light chuckle.

"Interesting." Hermione spoke out.

After chatting a bit more, they heard a quick knock on the door.

"Come in!" Luna called as Cole came stumbling through the door.

"Cole? What's wrong?" Alex asked, sitting up straighter.

"She was trying to fuck me!" He huffed out, trying to catch his breath from running here.

"Who was trying to fuck you?" Alex asked.

"Julianna." Cole said, quickly sitting on Alex's bed.

"She did WHAT?" Alex yelled out.

"So picture this, Johnny, Isaac and I all sat in the common room, Julianna and her bimbo friends, all drunk, come stumbling into our common room and she sits on my lap and tries to lean in to kiss me!" He yelled out.
