Chapter Thirty Five

Another week had gone by and Alex spent most of her time studying or working on assignments as well as hanging out with Cole more and more. She did not want her friends to feel like there were sides so she just didn't force herself to hangout with them when she knew Ron would be there.

Alex and Hermione currently sat in their dorm, just chatting about nothing really when Luna barged in.

"Guys! There is a party tonight in the american tower, we have to go!" Luna said as Hermione nodded and Alex looked unsure.

"No Alex! You are not getting out of this one. You have been working yourself so hard recently! It is a friday night, you are coming! Put on that hot red dress and lets go! You both have 10 minutes." Luna quickly said before leaving the room.

Alex sighed as she realized Luna would not let her get out of it and quickly put on her dress as Hermione got ready too. Once they were ready, they made their way to the common room to see Luna and Nathan waiting for them.

"Is it just us four tonight?" Hermione asked, giving a quick glance to Alex.

"Uh, Harry and Ron are already there, meeting there, uh, dates." Luna awkwardly said, glancing at Alex.

"Cool! We should head out then?" Alex quickly said as the four friends started walking to the tower.

"So Luna, why doesn't Neville come with us ever?" Nathan asked his cousin as she gave a light shrug.

"Parties aren't really his thing, he's been spending a lot of time in the greenhouse."

"He majored in Herbology right?" Alex asked as Luna nodded once again.

"Good for him, you can tell he's really passionate about what he does." Hermione said as Luna grinned at them, nodding.

They soon made it to the party and Alex quickly saw Cole, Isaac and Johnny.

"I'll be back!" Alex said before quickly walking over to the three boys.

"Hello gents!" She smiled at them and saw that Isaac and Johnny both sat in chairs as Cole sat across from them on a loveseat.

"Hi Hot Stuff, come sit." Cole said, quickly grabbing her hips to see on the seat next to her.

"Want a drink?" Isaac asked, offering her a cup which she gratefully accepted.

"So, do you Americans ever do any actual school work? Or do you guys just throw parties?" Alex teased as they laughed.

"I would say 70% party, 10% sleep and maye 20% school?" Johnny said as the other boys mockingly nodded their heads, agreeing.

"I have to admit, these parties are fun..." Alex stated as Cole shot her a grin.

"Of Course they are! You get to hang out with us?" Cole smirked.

"Ah, always the ego, hm?" Alex smirked back at him.

Alex's eyes trailed the party as the guys around her spoke and Alex quickly saw Ron with Julianna, seeming very close and giggling with one another. Alex sighed as she saw his and the trio of guys all noticed as well.

"That your ex?" Isaac asked as Alex nodded.

"Well, if I can say, she is not merely as hot as you are." Johnny smirked at her as she let out a small laugh.

"Well thank you, I guess." Alex said chuckling. "I'm going to dance with Hermione, i'll see you guys later." She said, sending them a smile before searching the crowd for her brunette friend. She soon found her, dancing with Luna with a bottle of tequila in her hand.
