Chapter 24 - All Japan Championships

"Come one sweetie". Lexi watched a beautiful woman step into the house holding her dad's hand and had a massive blush covering her face and ears.

Lexi's POV

I whirled my head around so fast to look at the person who shouted, I'm surprised my neck didn't dislodge.

"Hello sweetie", the woman said to the boy who was standing there looking shocked to his core.

"Ahem" I coughed "so introductions I think".

"Oh yes, excuse me. I am Batomf Altandöl. Please call me Altan. I am Batbayar's mother and school nurse", She introduced. I looked from the graceful woman in front of me to the frozen as a statue Batb. Yeah I can see the resemblance.

"How about we sit down, have a drink and then we can talk. Afterwards, I will order takeout for everyone" I say as I start pushing the frozen Batb to the living room. We settle down as the girls helped me with the drinks. I sat on the arm of the chair next to Shido, waiting for the caught couple to start speaking.

Dad started to speak first, "Well, I met Altan when I first started working at the school and one of the guys on the rugby team pulled a muscle. Altan helped me and we started talking. Before I knew it, we were talking everyday and I invited her to watch the rugby team in the finals".
Altan then spoke "That's true. I watched Batbayar compete in the finals and that's when I saw you Lexi-chan. You kept the guys together and gave them support when needed. You reminded me a lot of your father. After I watched the sumo club, I kept the promise and watched the rugby team. Since then we started dating".

I had a little smile on my face because you could tell that these two cared for each other with the way they are sitting together and holding hands. I looked over to Batb and saw him still in a state of shock.

I looked at the two adults in front of me and asked "So are you happy?" Everyone looked at me when I asked that question. What? I thought it was a perfectly logical question.

A smile spread across Altan's face before answering, "Yes. Very much so Lexi-chan. Your father as come to mean a lot to me in short period of time". I smiled in return "Good. I understand where you're coming from. I, too, have someone who means a lot to me". I felt Shido take me hand and squeeze it. I smiled at him before I looked back at my dad and Atlan. "Well, if you're happy. That's all there is. But just a word a warning Altan-san, when my dad gets emotional it's seriously embarrassing and he can't do much on his own without someone being there for him, almost like a child".

"HEY" my dad shouted as the rest of us laughed.

"But he is loyal and he will move heaven and earth for you. So if you can put up with all his quirks, please take care of him?" My dad looked almost in tears and Altan looked happy that I accepted this relationship.

We then turned our heads to look at Batb and possibly realising that he is at the centre of attention became unfrozen. "Ww-well. My mum has been alone since my dad passed away, so I guess I agree with Lexi-senpai. If you're happy mum then its fine. Jack-san please take care of my mum?"
