Actually, to tell you the truth I couldn’t tear my eyes away”. He was huge when he stood at his full height. Lexi and Saki very much knew who he was –
The 9th ranked Maegashira Saenoyama Norihiro.

Lexi’s POV

Oh my god, he’s huge.

Crack - Yep there goes my neck.

“Good morning Sekitori”, I bowed and said my good mornings along with the other members. I looked at Ushio who seems to have an excited look on his face upon realising just who Saenoyama was.

I know that look - Ten quid bet he’s about to ask for a bout.

Saenoyama goes to each individual to greet them, before he stops in front of me. “Lexi-chan, it’s finally nice to see you in person. The Master talks about you all the time and about your skills. After seeing your performance against the members here, I can see it wasn’t just biased talk. I’m impressed” he says and pats my head.

“Thank you Sekitori. It’s honour for you to say that” remember must be polite Lexi.

“Just call me Sae. You’re the Master’s niece and I feel like I already know you because of what he has told us”, I cringe a little at that. “Hopefully nothing too bad” I said with a smile, which he returns. I see Ushio walk up to us and excitingly asks, “Sekitori, it would be an honour to have a bout with you”.

Nailed it. Author you owe me ten quid.

(Fine, fine. I’ll give it to you later).

“Slow down, he’s only just arrived at practice Ushio” a wrestler said before Sae bowed to Ushio,“You read my mind. I would also like to dual. It’s uncommon, but you’ve peaked my interest”.

And so the bout begins. I took my tired backside and sat down next to Saki who handed me a towel and some water. “This is getting interesting” I smirked.

The pair entered the ring and crouched, ready for the start of the bout. “Now Spirit” Terahara calls and Ushio rushes in, but Sae holds his ground as Ushio makes contact with the charge. Due to the strong posture, Sae has cancelled Ushio’s charge. As Ushio was stumbling back, Sae pushes him to the ground.

Ouch – that’s gotta hurt.

Ushio, being the sumo freak like any of my boys, just looked up and smiled “Nice, can we go another round?”  Bout after bout Sae and Ushio fought and each time, Sae would throw Ushio to the ground. During these bouts Sae kept giving Ushio instructions, “You should be like water. My master taught me that. Your form must be as agile as fluid and strike with torrential force”. When Sae had decided that was enough he turned to leave only for Ushio to ask for another bout. Sae countered that he had seen the limit of Ushio’s technique and I think he may have insulted him when he said he would only be moderately good in high school.

Ushio snapped, “My dream is to be Yokozuna just like you”. Looking at the slight change in Sae’s eyes, I think his patience has snapped too, “Your dreams are born out of childish wishes. You think we’re the same because we have the same dream. You requested one more bout, maybe you think you’ll have a growth spurt or luck will change. But I’m warning you now, your words were an insult to sumo wrestlers and I’ll make you pay dearly for it”. Yep he’s pissed.
