“Hey pup. You ready for this tournament?”, he smiles hugging Chono close. Chono nods, “Yep. I’ll stay with big sis and behave”.
“Good” Batb replies before Chono is passed back to me.
I look at the two wrestlers in front of me, “You ready boys”
“YOSH”
Let the tournament begin.

Lexi’s POV
It’s already the 8th day and Batb has been performing well. He’s won all four of his bouts with confidence and so have the rest of my friends. Its amazing seeing them now compared to how they were in High School.
I’ve been sitting with Chono and my parents all week and then go down only to give treatment to the Nagato wrestlers when needed. Chono met all of his stars and had photographs with them. To say that they showed off a bit for their little fan was putting it mildly, but it was entertaining watching these big mountains show off for the little pup and of course he was all over Shido.
Shido loved spoiling Chono. He said it was practise for when we have children. The man still knows how to make me flustered.
I sat with my folks with Chono on my lap as we were getting ready to watch Kirhito aka Onikiri Yastusana. I always worry about Kirihito. Master Shuuyun limited him to one match per day at training, which Kirihito wasn’t happy about, until the Master told him; “Where do you think the strengths of wrestlers like yourself comes from?”
No one’s POV
The answer was in the sharpness of his techniques and heart. A fire and desire to fight in the ring. Kirihito honed his skills and Lexi made sure he didn’t overdo it. At one point he even beat Shido. It was a shock, but it was a well executed technique.
All Shido did was smile and say, “I’ll be your opponent again tomorrow. If everyone’s wanting to fight you. I better get in line early”.
Kirihito smiled back, “Yes”.
**Back at the tournament**
Commentator: “And we get to the most anticipated match on this 8th day of the Nagoya tournament. Meeting the promotion requirements for Juryo and speeding through the ranks. It should come as no surprise that he is apart of the Nagota stable and the National Treasure generation. Win or lose, he’s gasping for breath after giving it his all. Lately, there has been a surge in female fans whose heart strings he tugs. Furthermore, today both wrestlers attended the same sumo club at Odachi High School. Please welcome Onimaru and Onikiri”.
Kirihito and Hinomaru entered the ring to the cheer of the crowd. Kirihito took one look at Hinomaru and said, “Hey, you can’t use your demon wheel technique anymore, can you?”
“What makes you think that?” Hinomaru asked.
“Until I made it to Juryo, I was the attendant of Tennoji and with his wife, Lexi-chan, being the data freaks that they are, told me about you. I remember them saying how you haven’t won a single bout with an underarm throw. You’ve been using different techniques and not aimed for the belt. Meaning your arm isn’t healed, right?” Kirihito said without breaking eye contact.
Hinomaru just stared back, “When I heard about your illness back in school it felt like all the wins I had over you lost value. However, I am strong. Let’s finish off where we left it during elementary school and see who is stronger, Kirihito”, he smirked. Kirihito just smirked back.
