Yep, it’s certainly good to have Ushio-kun back and showing his normal tenacity as it pushes others around him, making their spirits burn brighter’, she mused as she continued to watch the wrestlers argue over who was to fight Hinomaru next.

Lexi’s POV

It’s been several hours since the start of training and it was now finally dinner time. The air was thick with exhaustion. The guys looked worn out already and the challenge has been set by uncle Yama for each wrestler to win 100 bouts. To say that that the goal is easier said than done is an understatement. Saki and I served dinner and it looked like a task to even lift the chopsticks.

“Here guys, we’ve made some side dishes as well to help with energy and muscle repair”, I explained placing a tray down.

“Thanks Lexi-chan and Saki-chan, it’s much appreciated”, Yamatogou said.

“Yeah, thanks girls. It all looks delicious” Sada said, digging into his food. Once we finished dinner, my phone pinged alerting me to a text message. I turned to where Shido was sitting and called out, “Shido, the taxi’s here”. Shido stood up and made his way to me, “Good, let’s head off”.

“Wait”, Sada called out, “You’re not staying with us?”. Shido smirked, “No offence, it’s not that I don’t want to spend time with you, but you can’t forget the real purpose of the camp. Besides, I want to be able to spend time with my wife”.

I left with Shido, chuckling at Sada’s shock expression upon realising that he will be the only one sleeping at the dojo whilst everyone else checked into nearby hotels.

“Poor Sada-kun. Seems he doesn’t change”, I laughed. “Nope, he’s still clumsy”, Shido agreed. We headed to the hotel we were staying at and I ran a bath straight away. Shido has had a hard day, so he needs to relax; plus my back was stiff from staying in one position for too long; so it was a nice excuse to join him. Once the bath was done, I helped Shido disrobe and climbed in with him. As hard as it was, both of us made an agreement to only focus on the training camp, which meant no intimacy, as we needed to have our minds clear.

I started to clean Shido when I spoke, “I spoke to Kayla earlier on the phone. It seems Aki-san is pushing himself too. It might not only by Yokozuna Jinou that you will need to look out for”. Shido nodded is head as he grabbed the sponge and started to clean me, “For the time being, he’s biggest challenge right now is not on defeating me as it has been in the past, but to beat Jinou”.

“It’s going to be interesting the tournament”, I said as I cuddled up to Shido’s chest.

Shido kissed my forehead, “Certainly will be”.

**5th day of training camp**

It’s been 5 days now and the camp has been going well. The guys are currently carrying bales up the side of the mountain with Daikeishou as a way to increase their stamina; whilst I stayed with Saki and the wrestlers in the Juryo division and under.

It was break time and I was handing a towel to Kaorumaru Hiroki, a newly promoted wrestler in the Juryo divison, “Thanks Lexi-chan” he smiled. He was another gentle giant and was a local from Gifu; so he was a little celebrity around here.

During the breaks, Saki and I would make sure that everyone had enough water and tend to any injuries. I made sure that the wrestlers stopped calling me Tennoji-san and just used my given name. Still cannot get used to being called by my surname. Batb came over and started to speak to Maru as everyone calls him when I heard a commotion and went over to see what was happening.
