Chapter 23 - Training Camp

"Well it seems that our High School Yokozuna loved his woman. All. Night. Long to make her legs turn to jelly" wiggling her hips for emphasis. "Kayla I'm going to kill you" I shouted before I launched at her and chased her around the dojo before she took refuge behind Aki. 

I looked over to Shido who looked like a prized peacock getting high fives and congratulations from the guys. 

"Screw this - I hate you all" I sulk.

Lexi’s POV

The schedule was to travel to the location early in the morning, like 4 O'clock in the morning. Honestly, didn't even know that existed.
"It's too early" I yawn.
"Don't worry" Shido said looking as sleepy as I feel "we'll sleep on the bus". Sounds good. I just want to snuggle in his arms. The bus journey was going to take 4 hours give or take, depending on traffic, then straight into training. I sat next to Shido and immediately fell asleep in his arms.

No one's POV 

The bus wasn't out of the school premises before Lexi was fast asleep. Kayla being the trouble maker she is, took a ton of photos of the couple asleep together and texted them to Sky before returning to her own seat and snuggling into Aki. 

The main purpose of the training camp was to prepare Tennoji for the All Japan Championships and the rest of the team for the following competitive year. The invitation to the Championships came days after the Nationals and everyone couldn't have been prouder for Tennoji, especially Lexi as she was seeing the efforts of his hard work being rewarded. 

Tennoji was excited to compete against other amateur wrestlers and he knew that Lexi was confident he will win. The only thing was at the same time as the All Japan, there was an international tournament in the rugby world in Australia that Lexi has been chosen to take part in. Meaning she will be thousands of miles away with many men around her, who will no doubt flirt with her. Tennoji knows he doesn't need to worry, but he can't help but want to punch every single one of those guys.

Tennoji looked down at the sleeping woman in his arms and knows that she would probably punch them before he could get to them. "Lexi", he whispered against her ear and she stretched out like a cat before opening her sleepy eyes. "What?" She was so adorable. "We're here".
"Okay" she yawned before snuggling back to go to sleep. Well, it seems the nice way wasn't going to make her get up, so making sure no one else was on the bus he reached under her top and tickled her. Lexi immediately woke up, struggling to get away and laughing. "Okay okay you win. I'm up", she gasped out as she was laughing. 

Tennoji picked up her bag from the bus and lead the way to the inn they were staying at. All the girls were in one room and the boys were put into groups. Everyone headed straight to the meet up point which was one of the conference rooms.

As the Hakurou members entered they saw the England team were already present along with their captain, who was standing with his arms crossed. Seeing the England players up close made the Hakurou boys pause.

Were they always this big? 

“TYLER", Kayla shouted as she to her brother and gave him a hug. “There's my trouble maker. So where's this boyfriend of yours?” He asked as he put Kayla down. Aki didn't hesitate to make himself known to Tyler. “That would be me. We’ve never been formerly introduced. I'm Kanou Akihiro, Kayla's boyfriend", he finished off with a bow.
Wow Aki actually took the bull by the horns in a manner of speaking. Kayla gave a squeak and started to shake Lexi and Saki, “He's never outright said it".
“Kayla-chan calm down" Saki tried to convince her, but one look at Kayla and you could tell she couldn’t hear anything else apart from Aki declaring that he was her boyfriend.
