Chapter 26 - Birthday Surprise!

Shido smiled at his parents “Thank you”. I then bowed my head to them “Thank you very much”. 

“It’s no problem Lexi-chan. Enjoy yourself” Toru said. I looked up the exact location and thought a hotel would need to be booked for the night if we didn’t want to rush the day. Plus I had my own surprise for Shido for his birthday.

Lexi’s POV

I was getting pissed off. It's been a few days since the All Japan and school was same old.

Yeah, I wish.

All these girls are suddenly appearing out of the wood work and trying to hang out with Shido, watch his training and I think I’ve seen a few touch his arms.

Back off girls, before I rip your damn arms off. I haven’t been able to spend any time with him because of those vultures. 

I was sitting in the classroom grinding my molars together during lunch with Aki and Kayla, when Shido walked in with his entourage, giggling and batting their eyelashes at him.
“Hey Lexi, coach has asked for you. Shall we go over together?” Shido said and held his hand out to me. 

“Let Lexi-chan go on her own. Why don’t you have lunch with us Tennoji-kun?” the little troll actually placed a hand on his chest.

“THAT’S IT”, I shout and bang my fist on the desk as I stand up. “You fucking parasites need to piss off and keep your hands off my man. Otherwise I’m going to bend them and break them off”. I could feel my nostrils flaring and I think the anger on my face was evident as some of the little crittens took a step back.

Except one.

“Just because he hangs out with you doesn’t mean he’s yours. I’m a much better match to be with Tennoji-kun then you”. The haunty cow stuck her nose up. I started to laugh, “That’s funny. What makes you think you’re better? All I see is a fake bimbo with money signs in her eyes because of Shido’s success and his continued success in the future”.

“How dare you” the rat squealed and tried to slap me. Cliché much. 

Shido stepped forward and deflected the slap and turned a fierce glare on the girl, “I suggest you girls beat it and don’t come near me again. You’re lucky you’re a girl otherwise I would have hit you for trying to hurt my girlfriend”. The vultures gasped before scurrying back out.

“Oy bimbo” I called out to the parasite, “You try this shit again with me and I’ll show how we Brits like to fight, pub style”, I cracked my knuckles as I said this. The colour drained from her face before she too ran off. I then whirled around on Shido and pointed a finger at him, “And you mister, why did you let them follow you or even touch you? HUH? Screw this, I’m going to see coach”.

I stomped towards the door and was swiftly picked up bridal style being carried down the hall. “Put me down you behemoth” I shouted when I saw that Shido was the one holding me. Everyone in the hall started to chuckle and whisper as we went by and I realised that we were heading in the opposition direction to the faculty room. “I thought you said that coach wanted to see me about something?” I asked whilst crossing my arms. “That was just something I made up. I wanted to get away from those girls without being cruel, but then you; my little kitten; decided to flex your claws” he smirked. “Well what do you expect, they were touching you. I may seem like I’m laid back, but I get jealous” I hate to admit it, but around Shido, I do get slightly jealous if other girls start to try to get close to him despite having a girlfriend already.
