Komori stepped forward "You heard her boys. Do want you need to do. Win the game".
"SIR"
‘Good luck Jinko’, Lexi thought as she sat down to watch the game with Sky.
************************************Lexi’s POV
The Jinko team impressed me. They actually won against a quarter finalist and I hope that they continue to show results for the hard work that they put in. After the match I went to find the Hakurou guys and found them deep in the middle of training.
“LEXI” is all I heard before I had a blabbering Kayla, Saki and Batb crushing me in a hug.
“Guys I’m fine, but can you please let go. I’m bruised”, I wheezed out.
My little crying circle broke the hug but stayed close. “You were amazing out there Lexi-chan. All the guys were impressed to see how you and Sky-chan played, but they were worried for you as was I. Those tackles were brutal”, Saki explained. I looked around and all the guys were nodding with what she said.
“Thanks guys”, I replied.
“Are you really okay sis?”, Batb asked. I gave each one a hug back to show them how much I appreciated their thoughts, “I promise. I’m fine. Now let’s get back to training. Nationals are close and we are preparing to take the win again this year”.
“YOSH”
Aki, Masaomi and Shin all gave me a hug too, followed by Shido who rubbed his nose against mine before they went back to training. I sat on the side taking notes with Kayla’s head on my lap and Saki resting her head on my shoulder. Certainly was interesting trying to write notes down and point things out to the guys along the way.
That night, I stayed with Shido who helped apply some ointment to my bruised back. I turned onto my side on the bed after he was finished and saw that he remained sitting next to me, staring ahead of him with his fist clenched on his knee. I took hold of his fist, gaining his attention; “What’s wrong?” I asked. Shido released a sigh and stroked my back, “I can’t believe that bastard did that to you. I want to find him and make him pay” he gritted out.
Okay, I need to distract him before he does decided to go on a rampage. I sit up on my knees and hug Shido from behind, pushing my entire body up against him, “Please don’t. The last thing we need is for you to get hurt or in trouble. I’m okay. I’ve taken worst hits. Besides, I think I got back at him with my tackles”. Shido chuckled and placed is hands over my interlocked ones by his collar bone, “You certainly did kitten. But I still feel slightly lost because I couldn’t protect you”.
I kissed his neck. My man was just too sweet sometimes, “You don’t have to worry about that. As long as you’re there to pick me up and give me a cuddle, then you’re doing the right thing”. Shido turned and rolled us on the bed, so that I was cradled in his arms, “You’re right, but at least allow me to worry about you. After all, I don’t like anyone touching my kitten like that” he said before kissing my temple. “Okay, but just so you know I will need you to help with my aftercare treatment, which could involve a lot of bath times” I teased. Shido pulled me flush up against him, “Behave kitten, when you’re not so achy I’ll give you some aftercare” he growled.
“It’s a promise”, I giggled.
Over the next couple of days, I decided to stay with the Hakurou boys for training and it certainly was intense. After all, Nationals were just around the corner.
