Evening came and went, soon it was time to leave. Lexi was going to miss Sky, but she needed to get back to her boys and ready for Nationals.

‘I can’t wait to be back with my boys. I miss them’.

Lexi's POV

Well, this is certainly an exciting day. Today my dad is exchanging vows with Altan. He actually proposed to the woman.

It was quite romantic if not slightly tearful.

**Flashback**

The training camp was a success and I’ve met many new people who are very interesting to say the least. I pretty much gave out my number left, right and centre as a lot of the guys wanted some input and they all seemed like a decent bunch, even Ebumi at the end of the day.

By the time I returned to Hakurou, all the prelims around the country had all but drawn to a conclusion. I walked into the dojo and saw everyone was present, “Hey guys, well done on the prelims”.

“Lexi-chan welcome back”

“Thanks mummy manager”

“How was the training camp?”

“Welcome back sis”, I turned to look at Batb and my smiled immediately dropped. Batb’s arm was in a sling. I rushed over to him “Batb what happened? Who did this to you?” I demanded.

“It’s nothing. Don’t worry about it sis?”, Batb tried to wave off my worry. “Of course I’m worried. You’re my little brother, so if anyone hurts you then I’ll tear them apart piece by piece” I gritted out between my clenched teeth. I could even feel my nostrils flaring.

“I caused the injury Lexi”, Shido stepped forward. I whirled around and looked at him wide eyed, “You? Why would you do that?”

Shido stared back unapologetically, “Remember when I called you at the training camp and I told you how Batb was behaving, well this was the result on me teaching him some manners”. I glared back at him, “You didn’t need to go that hard. What would have happened if the injury put him out of Nationals huh?”

I felt a tug on my sleeve and saw Batb looking like a kicked puppy, “It’s fine sis. I was in the wrong. Big bro Tennoji did the right thing to teach me”. I sighed, “You admit your mistake, that’s the main thing; but this didn’t need to go this far. Come on Batb let’s head home. I’m tired and everyone could use some rest” and I walk out without looking back.

Over the weekend I didn’t speak to Shido. I was mad at him. Not for teaching Batb a lesson. I was mad for how far it was taken. You don’t injure your comrades. Luckily, Batb’s shoulder was only sprained and I think he enjoyed being babied by me and Kayla. That’s right, Kayla came to stay with me as she worried about my argument with Shido and honestly, I missed her being around the house.

Over the weekend, my dad asked for my help to make one evening special by making a traditional Mongolian dinner. I kicked Kayla out to go back to Aki's and all day dad kept pestering me on what to cook and how to make the food. It got to the point where I was going to throw him out the kitchen and he finally told me his plan and why he wanted to be part of the food prep.

He was going to ask Altan to marry him.

I was surprised, but supported him 100%.
