Chapter 12 - First fight

 “Are you sure? The Nations are not that far off. I don’t what to interrupt your training schedule”.
“Don’t worry” I replied “Leave it to me and it’ll work out” my smile was brimming with confidence. “Okay. I’ll leave it to you”. She smiled at me and I felt my heart jump at the sight.

“Well” she said “I guess we’ll both being training hard then”.

No one’s POV

To say things went smoothly from there would be a fantasy.

Jack was still pouting about Lexi’s choice in potential boyfriend and this was followed by Lexi’s and Tennoji’s first argument. 

It was the day Lexi’s team arrived from England. The members of the Hakurou team were training away when the door slid open to reveal a foreign man with a large build and emerald green eyes that could be mistaken as jewels. Saki immediately had hearts in her eyes and stuttered out in English, “Hh-hello. Can I help you?” 

The man looked down at Saki “Hey there cutie” he said in Japanese with the most charming smile she had ever seen that it almost made her faint, “I’m looking for Lexi. Is she around?”
This caught the attention of the blue haired National Treasure training off to one side. “Lexi-chan? She’s just getting some notes for coach. She should be back in a moment” Saki explained. 

“That’s good. Is it alright if I wait here?”  he asked, “I want to surprise her”. 

“I guess so” Saki answered. 

“By the way my name’s Tyler. I’m the captain of Lexi’s rugby team” he holds his hand out to Saki “What’s your name?”
Saki placed her hand in his “Tennoji Saki” she said with small blush.
“Saki. Cute name just like you” - poof- Saki’s ears starting puffing smoke her face was so red.

“Hey Saki-chan. Have you seen the dietary notes?” Lexi asks as she comes walking back in to the dojo only to be picked up by the newcomer and squeezed in a tight hug.

“There she is. Our tigress. How have you been? Training hard? Where’s the boy who has made a declaration to be your boyfriend?"  Tyler laughs.

“Tyler” Lexi managed to wheeze out, "Why are you here?” Tyler placed Lexi on the ground and placed his hands on her shoulders to keep her from stumbling over. Only to have his hands ripped away and replaced by someone else. Lexi was pulled into another set of strong arms and she realised that she was in Tennoji’s arms. 

To say Tennoji was pissed was putting it mildly.

First this jerk flirts with his sister, now he’s being overly friendly with his soon-to-girlfriend. Not happening. “I would ask that you keep your hands to yourself” he demanded whilst shooting a glare at Tyler.
“Oh, and what if I decide I don’t want to?” Tyler asks with a teasing smirk. “Then I may just have to teach you some manners” Tennoji answered with a menacing smirk. 

Lexi, watching the exchange from the middle, decided to try step in to stop these two knuckleheads from coming to blows. “Okay guys”, she started to speak with a strained smile “how about we all just take a step back. Tyler -stop being a trouble maker and Shido-san don’t pay attention to Tyler, he likes to rile people up”. 

“Why are you defending him so readily Lexi-chan? There isn’t anything more between you is there?” Shido said as he cast his eye over at Lexi who had pushed herself out of his arms and gave him a look of pure anger. “How dare you?” she exclaimed “We’re not even officially together yet and you’re already questioning my friendship with other another guy”.
