Today we had gone on Inkigayo, had a fan meet, and now we sat in front of the camera to do a live. I happily had sat down on the floor in front of Niki as the boys had begun chatting about everything and nothing.
"Ah, today we went on Inkigayo," Jungwon happily clapped his hands together and we all nodded in agreement, "it was a live performance."
"Ah, but we also have the first official MC in the group," Jay happily pointed out, making me quickly raise my hands to my cheeks as the boys all looked over at me.
"Don't just sit there, explain," Sunghoon let out a laugh at me as he nudged my shoulder from behind.
"Yes..." I hesitantly nodded, "so, I was asked to be MC on Inkigayo for these next eigth months. We went it over with the company, and basically... they said if I wanted to do it I could. So... long story short, I've really wanted to try and MC, so getting the opportunity I didn't say no."
"She was so jealous when Sunoo was asked to do the Music Bank MC thingy," Jake ratted making me snap my head to him.
"Ah, but she was so nice to stay with me, when you all went home," Sunoo defended and I happily nodded.
"I wasn't jealous. I was curious. I already had signed the contract then," I nodded in agreement.
"We also found out, through music shows... Jiyeon-ie picks up friends left and right," Heeseung commented doing a picking motion with his hands, "whenever she disappears for a second, she's always speaking to someone new."
"We thought it was Sunoo who was the social butterfly, but it really isn't," Jay nodded in agreement as I let out a small laugh at them.
"But you were quite lucky with your fellow MCs weren't you?" Jake questioned and I nodded in agreement.
"I'm hosting with Drippin's Alex, who I already know, from another music show. Then we also have Bit from Bae173, honestly the cutest," I nodded in agreement, "he's so cute."
"Watch out, someone's getting jealous," Sunoo pointed out and pointed to Jungwon who immediately shook his head before letting out a small laugh.
"I'm fine, I'm pretty boy, afterall," Jungwon shook his head in denial.
"Ah... recently it has been snowing," Heeseung stated as he looked down at the monitor in his hand and we all nodded.
The boys then proceeded to keep on talking about how much they enjoyed the snow, and Jake piped up with how he hadn't seen snow, before coming to Korea, and then Jay added on how it always rained in Seattle.
"Step it up boys, I'm about to shock you," I confidently assured as I straightened up.
"I won't believe you, if you say you don't have snow in Denmark," Jake pointed to me and I shook my head at him.
"No, no. Don't worry," I assured him, "so this is the first time in... ten or nine years that I've seen snow actually pile up," I explained, "in Denmark we had a really white winter in 2010 or 2011, and then ever since... whenever it would know, it would just get all soggy and grey and melt into this disgusting slush of dirt and ice. In the later years we haven't even had that, it just rains."
"How come?" Jungwon frowned over at me.
"Global warming," I waved it off, "so I don't know... I feel like a little kid now I'm seeing snow like this again. I remember how my brother and I used to built iglos."
"But do you then prefer snow or rain?" Niki questioned and I shrugged.
"I don't know. I mean... I miss my brother and I building iglos and chairs out of snow, but at the same time I've always been that kid, that when it just began raining the slightest, I would pull on my raincoat and boots and just run around in the rain for hours," I explained with a wide smile, "my mom has this picture of me in a bright pink raincoat, and floral wellies, just standing out on the street whilst you can just see the rain pouring down in these thick lines of water. We have a lot of storms too. Not that big, it's not like they ruin buildings... I think the last time we had one like that was in... december 2013... there were a few buildings that lost the roof, but nothing bigger than that. The coastal cities also had a lot of flooding."
"How could you remember the time that specific?" Sunghoon let out a laugh.
"Ah... I had to have gymnastics training that evening. But nearly all roads and highways were closed off, because there were bricks and such from houses, so they deemed it unsafe to drive around, in case the car were to get hit by a brick," I shrugged at them, "I remember a trampoline rolling by our front door and over onto our neighbor's roof. My parents spend the next day helping them get the trampoline away and fixing their roof. We did a lot of helping in the neighbourhood after that."
"Is that just normal to help each other that much?" Heeseung questioned and I happily nodded at him, "my brother and I did a lot of volunteer work, back home. It was quite normal for people to do volunteer work and help out the neighbours at any chance they got. It's not like we felt obligated to, it was just... normal to do so."
"That's it, we're moving," Heeseung stated, making us all look up at him in amusement, "what? What is suddenly the car loses a wheel or something? Who then changes it?"
"I do," I hesitantly replied to him.
"Oh, you can do that as well, can you now?" he gushed in disbelief and I hesitantly nodded at him.
"My dad was a mechanic," I calmly reminded him.
"Oh... right," he sheepishly grinned, "what about if our roof collapses, who then fixes that?"
"Hyung... you would not want to move," Sunghoon calmly reminded Heeseung, "you have heard her speak Danish... you've said it yourself... its' scary."
"What?" I questioned in disbelief as Heeseung nodded in agreement, "I'm not scary."
"Niki heard you speaking with your mom one night... we literally had to assure the poor boy, that you weren't a witch who stood in the kitchen and cursed us all," Jay sighed at me.
"Hyung!" Niki whined at Jay.
"Okay, okay... point taken," I sighed at them, "I won't speak Danish to my mom anymore, I'll begin speaking in Korean to her."
"No, no. You need to keep it," Jake shook his head at me.
"Oh, I'm still gonna speak Danish. Just not to my mom... from now on I'll just speak around the dorm," I waved it off.
"Great... now we're all getting cursed," Jungwon sighed with exasperation.
"Yah!" I complained and reached over and slapped his arm, making him just grin cheekily at me.
