The press conference had started with the picture round in our 'Drunk-Dazed' outfits, before a table had been wheeled out, after my pcitures were done, along with 8 chairs. We all quietly sat down in our seats in the age order, which we were supposed to at these formal things. The only exception to the age order was Jungwon, since he was the leader he was situated in the middle of the table between Sunghoon and Sunoo. Just slightly to the younger side, because he was part of what would be considered 'Maknae Line'.
The press conference went pretty much like the one at our debut, except from the fact that we were a lot more calm this time. I remember the first time I had been so nervous that my heartbeat could be felt in my teeth, which just had hurt a lot to be completely honest. But this time it was more natural for us.
I quietly sat and wrote down anything on my notepad as I paid attention to what the journalists was asking us and so on.
"I have a question for Jiyeon-ssi," a journalist stated making my head snap up and look towards the journalist, "you're credited on 'Mixed Up'," he stated and I nodded.
"I am," I assured him as I had picked up my microphone.
"Can you give us your own thoughts on the song?" he questioned making me just nod at him.
"Oh well... I did write the lyrics for the song and was part of the composing, of course having a professional by my side as I came with my idea. There would've been no way I could make that song all by myself. So I also want to give a lot of the credit to the producer," I started off, "however, I do have a love hate relationship with it. I am in love with the composing that our producer helped me make, but I absolutely hate the lyrics."
"Can you elaborate?"
"Oh well... It is something that I've always had and if you ask my brother he would immediately tell you that I am my own worst enemy when it comes to critisizing myself and my work. I think my problem with the lyrics is the fact that I wrote it myself," I excused.
"But you didn't," the journalist stated making me blink a few times as I looked at him.
"Pardon?" I questioned, unsure of whether I actually heard it right or not.
"You didn't write the lyrics yourself... it is copied off of another song," the journalist reasoned making me hum as I slowly nodded, "at my company we're at the impression that you are bitter to not be part of YG Entertainment anymore that you have now written off of one of their artists' songs to take revenge."
"I see..." I slowly nodded before clicking my pen, "if you give me the song title and artist I'll look into it, and give my sincere apology if my own made up writing just so happens to be completely identical to that of my own."
I looked up at the journalist as it stayed silent, sending him a look that basically told him that I was impatiently waiting for his answer.
"I' afraid I can't remember the song at this very moment," the journalist stated making me just hum and nod at him.
"What a shame," I stated and place my microphone back down again, leaning back in my chair and looking to Jungwon, who just sat and stared at me in shock, "go on," I whispered to him and gestured to the other journalists who still sat with a hand raised, indicating that they had a question.
"Uh, yes," Jungwon slowly nodded and gestured to the next journalists who got handed a microphone after disinfecting their hands.
"I wish to ask miss Choi as well," the man stated making me look up at him, "will there be any weighloss from you during this comeback?"
