Chapter 35

I silently waited behind the cameras as Sunghoon and Heeseung stood beside me. Today, just the three of us had been invited onto some new variety show. We patiently listened as the MCs were speaking until they introduced us and the three of us happily entered the camera frame before I counted in our introduction and we all quickly did it before shortly chatting with the MCs. It was a live show so the three of us had been very conscious about what we had said and how we made ourselves look, but our manager had assured that we would feel better after a while and would be more at ease.

The whole variety show usually had an audience, but it was cut in half for today, because of the pandemic. There was also a large variety of other celebrities there as well, but they were all MCs in a way, however there was two main MCs and they just sort of were there. We were mainly the guests for todays episode anyways.

The three of us sat down on a stool each, which we were provided with, and began chatting back and forth with the MCs before we were told to play some games, with interviewing in between. It had all been fun and games all up till the last feature of the show.

"Jiyeon-ah!" one of the MCs exclaimed and my head quickly snapped to him in a fast manner before I quickly held my neck as I had cracked it on my way.

"Yah, yah! You can't call her like that, she'll end up injuring herself," the other MC scolded his colleague.

"No, no, it's fine. It does that," I assured the two as I waved my hand at them.

"Right, but as I was saying. You all each prepared something for us to see, yeah?" the MCs pointed out and we all nodded," you wanted to show off something you haven't really had the chance to show off."

"That's right," Sunghoon nodded in agreement.

"So, lets start from oldest to youngest then," the MC stated as everyone looked to Heeseung, "so what have you prepared Heeseung-ah?"

"Ah... I don't exactly think it's something that I'm that good at, but I really like basketball. So I wanted to try and test how good I am at it, on the show," Heeseung explained as a basketball basket stand was wheeled in and a staffmember quickly rushed out and handed Heeseung a basketball, which he gratefully took.

"How do you plan to do this?" I let out a small laugh as he looked all lost once he stood up.

"Well, I knew Seo Janghoon sunbaenim would be here today, and I hoped he would help me," Heeseung admitted as he looked over at Janghoon with shining eyes.

"Wah, he looks like he's in love," Sunghoon commented in disbelief as Janghoon stood up and walked down to Heeseung, towering tall above him.

"Oh my, he's so tall," I commented as I covered my mouth and looked over at the main MCs in shock as they just laughed at my comment.

"Try and stand beside him Jiyeon," one of the MCs said and I shook my head at him.

"Ah, my shoes have a platform on them today," I pointed out and extended my leg to show my converse shoes with a small platform on them.

"That is honestly not gonna make a difference bubs," Sunghoon commented with a grin and I hesitated a bit before standing up and moving over beside Janghoon, grinning widely as the audience cooed at the height difference.

"Niki, if you're watching this... please don't get taller," I happily told the camera, in front of me, with a tight smile, "please don't."

I then turned right around and skipped back and sat down beside Sunghoon again as we watched Heeseung get taught by Janghoon in various things, such as cool dribbles, spinning the ball on your finger, dunking and just scoring in general. A lot of it was very entertaining to watch, and we ended up laughing... a lot.
